No worries. I'm not really sure about TD... I'm with HL and they are usually pretty helpful. HL also trade the Helsinki, so it's not a problem, but I don't think I can trade the shares online... If TD don't trade on the Helsinki Exchange, I'm not really certain what the plan of action is. G

Hi, just had a reply from HL: We have been advised by the market maker through which the trades will be placed that it is expected that Talvivaara Mining Shares will remain eligible to settle within the CREST system. as a result we expect to settle trades through CREST. If this facility is cancelled then we have a global custody account agreement with HSBC through which we would be able to settle trades placed. Wed, 30th Apr 2014 06:51 Stock Exchange Release Talvivaara Mining Company Plc 30 April 2014 Talvivaara was granted an environmental permit decision relating to its whole operation and uranium recovery Talvivaara Mining Company Plc ("Talvivaara" or the "Company") announces that its operating subsidiary, Talvivaara Sotkamo Ltd, has today received from the Northern Finland Regional State Administrative Agency ("AVI") an environmental permit decision relating to the whole Talvivaara operation and an environmental permit for the uranium recovery. The permit decision is not yet final, but will only be applicable when the potential appeal processes have been completed. Talvivaara operates under the previously obtained, existing permits until the new permit is final. Talvivaara will assess the obtained permit decision. Time for appeal to the Vaasa Administrative Court will end on 30 May 2014. Tentatively Talvivaara has identified issues in the permit decision for which the Company will appeal against. All the compensation matters related to the environmental permit are dealt with in a separate process of AVI. Talvivaara submitted an environmental permit renewal application and the uranium recovery environmental permit application separately in the spring of 2011. Thereafter AVI combined the two applications and the applications have been supplemented several times. It is expected that also the appeal process in a case this scale will last for years. Tricky question to be honest... Personally I will be holding. I have been in since 5.05p and when it rose to 10p in December, I still didn't sell because I know that if they sort themselves out, it will be worth a lot more. You need to have nerves of steel when dealing with TALV. Corbine will also tell you of all the trials and tribulations! If you have the time to read comments from December about the corporate reorganisation, the loss in employees etc etc, it will be time well spent to get your head around where this company is and where it needs to be. It's really a 50/50 to be honest. I guess it depends on how much you have riding on it..... We could all be big winners or get burnt fingers. Up to you FB.

On 24 March 2014, Talvivaara Mining Company Plc ("Talvivaara") announced that it has applied from the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority for an exemption on the basis of Chapter 7, Section 18, Subsection 2 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act to defer the publication of the Financial Statements Release, the Financial Statements and the Board of Directors' review for the financial period from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2013 until 30 April 2014. Talvivaara announced simultaneously that it will apply, on the basis of the rules of the stock exchange, for a similar exemption from NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd. Talvivaara has obtained such exemption from the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority and NASDAQ OMX Helsinki on 25 March 2014 and 26 March 2014, respectively. It's in the old RNS: Talvivaara will publish its Financial Statements Release, Financial Statements and the Board of Directors' review for the financial period from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2013 as soon as possible, however, no later than 30 April 2014. Talvivaara is currently unable to give a more precise estimate of the publication dates of its Financial Statements Release and its Annual Report, which will include the Financial Statements and the Board of Directors' review, but the dates will be published separately once more clarity is obtained.
