Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Genghisinvestor - forgot about the reference to Occidental.
"Arthur Millholland, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented: "The Tap provided by our lead institutional investor today illustrates the confidence they have in our business plan going forward. Long term investors in the Company are key to our future, as they provide balance and confidence to our current shareholders, and other stakeholders, by allowing the Company to grow through the execution of its business plan. One only needs to look at Occidental Petroleum who have performed brilliantly with the support of a single long term lead institutional investor."
'Quite a lot of the time on this board, however, it is not - and I suspect there are some out there being paid to 'de-ramp' for larger clients - which rumour suggests is an unfortunate common practice amongst small caps. So not all innocent at all.'
I agree 100%.
Today's BB was brilliant. Not because it was ultra positive but because you didn't have to wade through endless negative posts that real in the unsuspecting or spread doubt. The best I've seen. Educational and predictions with workings.
Yes it is illegal and LSE have to get to grips with this to show that they are complying with the law. The naysayers with baseless facts are easy to see. Similarly the ubber rampers (jonesrichards for example) turn up when a share is on a run and then disappears when his business is done.
What a day.
On the way home I heard that my club had a new owner, got its ground and surrounding land back, is going to pay HMRC up in the next 40 hours.
And I’ve just watched them win their first away game for 395 days live on BT Sport.
Comes in threes. Now where is that Mrs of mine :-)

Norman Broadbent up 50% today.
The closing paragraph by the CEO
"We are aiming to deliver annual EBITDA of £1.25 million in 2025 through organic growth whilst continuing to seek acquisition opportunities. While the economic headwinds remain challenging, I am confident that the necessary foundations are in place to enable us to achieve this target."
You tell me how that warrants a 50% rise when we are below the SP prior to our RNS release yesterday?
My theory is that it hasn't got many traders holding in the first place who will ditch on a rise.
Haha
"Stand's out like ketchup on a wedding dress."
I don't pay attention to Fish. I pay attention to the SP and being stuck in this band for longer than I can remember. Not being allowed to move up for many reasons.
I'm deciding whether or not to ditch my shares in COPL.
My emotions say do it. Sick to death of the SP not moving.
My gut feeling says don't do it. Believing what this will be one day.
My patience is running very thin.
"And finally what the F is that time wasting Finance Director doing in COPL, either do your job or resign, you are just too expensive to be an F'ing ornament."
I did laugh at that comment.
The most expensive ornament in America.
