It will be up to $20 to cover cost of production, with proft sharing contracts to split the rest, and its this element that's the billion dollar question. The ceiling being increased to $20 is another hurdle passed to get to the finishing line, ensuring IOCs get their costs covered.

They can't just rip them up. They will need contracts from SOMO to IOCs. IOCs will not agree to new contracts that are not equally benefical.

Just a strong signal that institutions are de-risking / hedging having probably bought sub £1. They will plan to buy back as it goes up and will then hold for major gains.

All good thoughts I would consider any of these an unexpected bonus!

Don't expect any RNS, payments or oil flows tomorrow. Its still being worked out, and I don't expect any payment upfront for money owed. Amounts owed to be paid back each month using excess income from 400k exports. That would be absolutely fine by me - anything else is a bonus. The bigger play here is a return to huge revenues and dividends within a legitimised political framework.
