I don't know if I have the stomach to carry on this gamble on the markets

I use a lloyds share dealing account, the first time trying to purchase some shares I put in the name Ashtead Technology

Nothing came up

I later tried again putting in the ticker AT

Nothing came up

Eventually I put in the dot as in .AT

only then was I able to purchase shares

This is crazy how many trades get lost due to a simple dot

I know I gave up and came back days later
