These morons obviously want to get the house market moving as people have been put off my Labours punitive increase in Stamp Duty. Without prying as to how much is in your pension pot, I’m sure you know you can only stick £20k a year into an ISA. I’m putting my tax free amount into a low interest paying gilt so that I will get the capital gain but not have to pay tax on the interest as I won’t cross the £500 threshold. I’m not giving a penny more than I have to to these charlatans.

I reduced my holding in Lloyds a while back mate from 80,000 to 30,000 shares. Got fed up with waiting for a fair valuation of them 😂 Rolls Royce has been my best UK investment. Bought at 85p during Covid. Haven’t looked back. FTSE stocks pay a good dividend as I move towards 60 and will need an income. Aviva and Legal and Gen particularly pay good dividends. A good percentage of my SIPP is in bonds now generating a monthly/quarterly income. SMIFs and TFIFs have been very lucrative. Greencoat Wind has been my worst performer 😂
