No I don't think so - if they had booked a rig they would have (and would have to have) announced as such.

I hope they can get a suitable rig eyed up soon or we will have yet another delay and another 'expected' month on which we have to chew more nails on - I have to admit I'm down to the cuticles now...

Clearly need a strong rig that can cope with depth etc and available to carry on for FFD campaign.
I really hope this can be arranged for expected month of march, I really don't fancy any more delays..

The TZ fair competition commission has confirmed its unconditional approval for the proposed SCIR/APT transaction and has issued a merger clearance certificate to SCIR - revenue authority currently reviewing proposed SCIR transaction from a taxation perspective. Once APT join the license, then needs sign off by energy minister....

All going in right direction - albeit a little slow...just need a little more patience and things will start to move...

'With energy prices skyrocketing , largely due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and subsequent sanctions by the west, Tanzania natural gas industry has a bright future. Tanzanian naturalgas production started in 2004 but has largely been for domestic production with hardly any imports. The country has has witnessed further natural gas discoveries with latest estimated natural gas reserves (2016) of 57 trillion cubic feet. Currently Tanzania has three gas production fields namely Songo Songo Island, MnaziBay, and Kiliwani with an average combined capacity of 200 million cubic feet per day. With the development of the Ntorya gas field, it is expected that the daily gas production in Tanzania will increase to to 290 mmscf per day.'
