RE: GOLD7 Jan 2023 00:00
Copied from earlier post.
- Alba bought the processing plant to process the bulk samples, which it did.
- The waste tip got assayed to see if it was a viable mining option before a planning application can be created, it appears to still be in the process of being created for submission.
- Alba were incredibly busy with underground and overground drilling to prove the resource, mapping out the target areas and putting together the planning application to NRW.
- Alba were also busy organising the greenland spin off, which we can all agree seems to have been pretty successful so far.
- Once the species license has been secured it will be much easier to get future permits for things such as waste pits and other targets along the belt.
- Agreed the dewatering permit has been frustrating and has gone on for far too long. However we have been residing over an extremely unprecedented time in which administrative processes take a lot longer than pre pandemic, take any organisation, banks, utilities, government agencies as an example. Things are just taking longer than normal however frustrating that is.
- I originally thought Alba should be looking into other targets and still be busy drilling the other targets on the lease but that could be a major waste of resources and would have brought about further placings and cash burn. Not the best idea in a market downturn imo.
- In the whole scheme of things a few more months to wait for the DW decision is not that long. I for one have been waiting for almost 2 years by the time it is due to arrive. But we have broken the back of it now.
- If within the next 4-6 months we are pumping water out of the shaft I would expect much excitement and sentiment as to what could be lurking under there for us. The processing plant will come back in to play and works can begin again at the mine.
- In the mean time we have news due on Amitsoq and Black Sands to come, which could be huge for us, and it's only a matter of time until the market wakes up to the magnitude of the resources there.
- Alba havnt done that badly with regard to SP considering the general market capitulation.
- We seem to be holding around the 0.1p mark pretty well for a while now. Its a shame that the SP is so low as even a 100% rise would only take it to 0.2p which is below a lot of peoples averages. However its not just about what happens on the week of the DW decision, its about what happens in the weeks and months after that when work begins again. Then if we strike gold then we are all in the money and our patience will be rewarded.
Just my 50 pence on the recent comments. GLA
