Hi Hepseal - I assume you are correct that the 3D was utilised in the formulation of the 2 stage development strategy. It is just that I thought (maybe incorrectly) that at some stage in the previous 12 months there was some talk of "the 3D survey being reported on at some point in the future" when the analysis had been completed. Would there be any need or requirement to do so.?
AJW (Or anyone else) - When would you think that the 3D seismic survey would be reported on.? I realise that the survey area was much larger to take in some/most of the Schlum acreage so more analysis would be required. However, the survey was undertaken during 2019 and we seem to have taken on a great number of technical specialists in the intervening months since .
Hi Thordon - Obviously something going on in the background - as you say seems likely someone (or a group) is building a position but have no desire to show their identity. I used the last couple of dips in the SP to do a couple of trades and add to my own holding here - currently I am in at 0.3% Showing a small loss at present but I don't think that will be the case for much longer.
Hi Thordon - I seem to be learning more and more as the weeks go by. Mind you my whole experience of Block Energy has been a 2 year 3 month long roller-coaster ride of highs, lows, nail biting worry, stress and excitement. I had not realised that there were 80 million shares unaccounted for..............hardly like loose change down the back of the sofa.
Loaning shares out - makes you wonder why that would be done.?
Thordon - Slightly off topic and maybe a silly question but I believe that JIM Nominees Limited and JIM Nominees Ltd are two separate companies - each has a separate entry at Companies House. The first; JIM Nominees Limited was a "dormant company" for a number of years ..............Also JIM Nominees Ltd (if you do a bit of digging) is a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) . Does this mean that they have bought in on behalf of a private client or a subsidiary company within JIM.? Any ideas anyone.?
BB - My trade at 1.20pm was shown correctly 304K shares at 2.95p that was definitely a buy.............as
for the others - there seem to be an awful lot being shown in blue and no uptick in the SP. As someone
commented earlier on, perhaps there is something going on in the background that is yet to be revealed.
I am sure there are quite a few PI's in here who like you (and me) have been well and truly underwater when the SP slumped. Been doing the same, buying on the dips and bringing down my average to a nearly bearable level. Like you I have not sold one single share and luckily I can have the funds "on hold" for medium to long term return. Good Luck all LTH's.
Agree 100% with your post - this is not like building a shed or putting together a flat-pack cupboard from Ikea. Real world problems will and do crop up - environmental, safety, technical and political issues all come to the surface (literally) and have to be addressed. Sadly - it is not to everyone's timeline.
Capt'n Bob - That's very current and up to the minute. At least you didn't go all the way back to Charles Ponzi.............. Block energy is currently trading around the 3.8 and 4.3p range - once any positive RNS drops this will re-rate very rapidly. You are of course, free to stand on the side-lines and snipe, it will have zero effect on the way the SP goes.
Problem is a dead cat will only bounce once.......I sold out from here at £ 1.30 almost one year ago. Booked a £ 10 K loss but I thank God every other day I didn't just hold on expecting the company to "turn the corner" or some other cliche. Had I held on, I would have simply compounded my losses and been £ 20 K worse off............Having read some of the previous posts it looks like there are lots of people in denial on here. Before anybody asks - Yes I was a long term holder and no I will not be buying back in at any price.
Hi Sea7 - I think you will find that Twain went into partnership with a second person - they did actually strike gold - and a fairly rich streak of gold at that however, there was a land and ownership dispute as to who had staked the claim first - in the end a large Gold Mining company ended up with the rights and the gold. With that in mind I am still here, still holding, still adding.
Excelsior - I am most definitely not a trader. I am however a long term holder here and I am fed up with "jhonny come latelys" giving me the benefit of their wisdom. Actually I am heavily invested in here and I found it bizarre that people have been chundering on about "we need news for the SP to move up" We get some news which I thought was very positive and I posted on here saying so. What I do not get is why some people on here seem to be pleased that the SP is now nearly 6% down. The only person that could possibly benefit is a day trader or someone with an eye for short term buying/selling.
HI JFK8 - have to agree this has been a fairly "sour" response to this RNS at present a drop of almost 4% on the SP. Presonally I think I must be missing something - for me the RNS was clear, precise and upbeat. NOt sure what it will take for the market to respond positively. As you say the glory days of a 17p SP seem a long way off.................
