Congrats on the profit! It does feel like we are very toppy. If I had somewhere better to deploy money to I would probably sell. But right now everything looks expensive.

Almost £10M extra costs, for a company of Serica’s size that’s not something that can be simply shrugged off. A detailed report on what went wrong and lessons learnt produced by the bod once this is over will go someway to reducing shareholder anger!

What I really like about Serica is their dedication to low costs. The annual report shows cost savings are going in the opposite direction. Let’s hope it’s just a one-off due to covid etc.

I've just invested 2 x £9000 into my kids' Junior SIPP's. I have been mulling over for months in advance where to invest this money. Due to their ages (1 + 4) I am hopeful that over the next 10-15 years the returns here will beat the wider market as a whole.
