915600 shares bought back....share price is bound to be subdued at this rate until march - i would think

I reckon were see another 800k-1.2 million buy today by the company. I wouldnt be surprised if sorrel sold his on the basis that there was to be a buyback. He sells - the price drops - and the company buys in earnest. He then buys back at a profit...and the company has done a 100 million buyback at a discount. So i would expect this to be trading down a bit...but if you look past few days - a lot of trading and the share drops a bit - and the company are buying a lot. So i would imagine the price manipulation is down to them - after all why buy at a high price if you can get it at a lowere one? Id expect it to move a bit when they are nearly finished....either way a lot of corruption and feathering of nest going on here! IMHO Im Holding these are cheap!

sorry volcano thought you were talking to me. I agree with the other poster though. As I said i couldnt see the RNS re transactions. Looks like it was a helpful downgrade so they could buy back the shares at a cheaper price IMO. GLA though - im holding ;)

i have....my accout at HL did not show the buying by the company......now I see the big buys - its obvious they arebuying back at a very high rate ( who wouldnt at this price - they might not get the chance again!) - technically this should put the share price up 6-8% above where it is now. As I said i didnt believe exane could change their outlook in a week - unless they were incompetant! Anyway I'm a buyer... if it goes down I am still a holder of 20K. GLA.

yeah i have shares - and keeping no matter what ..../trump is no good for gold but shorters on gold contracts winning. i did spread betting in 2008 lost a lot. if id owned the shares i wouldnt have overleveraged and ended up bailing at severe losses. so DBNO if you dont own the shares be careful mate GLA x

i hold the shares from 6330......thought that was a bounce from there. im not selling as has to be pick up. ive sold out several times early now. i feel sorry for the spread betters.... dont hold the share and will end up losing. gold will go up een if it falls furtger first.. ill just sit on these and buy some more later if funds allow.....should have listened to my ownm advice i gave dbno that it was heading for 54....doh! anyway GLAxx

utter tosh mate... it tracks the price of gold...more buys than sells - gold getting spanked...thats why the share is falling!

id say party over.....big sell off coming today probably in US - gold down and this share left its support - so level is 54-56 a share imho GLA im waiting for a lower entry - stocks will sell off relief rally is over once reality of trump in mindset - best go into defensives - but im sitting on sidelines for now

already up to.4.41 this morning....share price on this board says 4.39.....i think 4.50 soon be on cards and then the fiver by end of November i think as long as no gepolitical shocks to market. good luck all holders im happy with my 20k....up days tend to be 1% ish but not much down on bad days so i like the stock as its not too volatile...slow burner! Also euro strength against the pound from approx 132ish is june tio 1.15 currently got to add around 9million to profits at this rate. 2 months and another nice divi...come on NTG ;))

Well sea of red 2 days - up 5p yesterday and motoring today just up to 4.37 - must be something in the offing - GLA holders;)) 450 not far away then were off to a fiver!! imho

CA brought another 150,000 shares at end of last week - no wonder share price was a bit erratic - now has 4.11 % stake to approx 5476000 shares. They are trying to get the company to put itself up for sale i believe. exciting. in a sea of red today - they are ticking up!
