10% of debt.............convertble bonds ($650million! or approx £495£m) Total debt $2.1 billion dollars (650m cBonds and aprox 1.45M other debt)
so if we look at shares and CBonds then it owns 3% plus $65m of debt that can be coverted

approx 2.4billion pounds Mkt cap (3.18B$)..Plus bonds that can be converted.....650M$......so technically it owns approx 95400000$ stock and 65m$ CB...or 160400000$ OUT OF 3.83$Bln.......i.e.approx 4.1% IN TOTAL of the companies combined stock and convertible bonds NOT 13%...if you include the other debt (another 1.45Bln$).....then it actually owns 3% of the companies combines stock and debt!

either way sunshine you need to go back to school! IT DOES NOT OWN 13%...

they have 3% of the share equity....... i.e. 3% of 2.4Billion (voting shares - circa 478m shares)
10% of convertible bonds (the company debt)...which can be converted to share equity - unless redeemed by the company.....i think youre a little confused mate?

I do hope there is a bid.......but who knows...

Omedome - you really are a sad pathetic little individual. You must have been bullied at school - because you posts and language indicate that. Satellite operator Inmarsat was also flying high thanks to a boost from RBC Capital Markets. Analysts' reasoning was that growth should be underpinned by the many maritime clients migrating to its 'Fleet Xpress' service and so "now could be the perfect time to take Inmarsat private", with the stock price looking to be "firmly undershooting". A fair share price target was set at 825p.
