For Dividend data that is free (and I find accurate and up to date) try dividenddata.co.uk.

Yahoo Finance will give a crude 'Forward dividend & yield' but I am sure there are better ones - just cannot recall at present. I find best approach to Div yield anyway is to work out for myself as Dividend Yield for you depends on your purchase price, not current price!

Been in since March 2017 and apart from B&B to transfer into ISA's have averaged down via top ups 4 times since.
I have now got my fingers crossed & seat belt on!!

If your shares are held in an isa account, then that is where the capital return should go, so you could further invest it as you wish, within the isa 'wrapper' or withdraw the cash.

I found this last week, having got t'd off with all the handbags at dawn kwap:
- where you pressed the big blue button at the top of the list to do your posting
- Above that are 1 red , 2 grey and one green buttons
- Press the grey one marked 'Filters'
- Type in the prat and lo instead of the prat's drivel, you just see a nice green 'post' saying 'This message has been filtered, please adjust your filters to view'
Simples.

ME TOO! In 2018 I experienced a so called 'Capital Return' with Aberdeen (ABDN) or Standard Life (SL) as it was then known. For me an apparent return of £1730 was actually £68 after the bean counter driven 'consolidation' shenanigans had settled down.
Also, the share price has never recovered (one time nearly £6, now barely above £2) and the dividend, the same as before represents a poor return for long term holders. The return looks good to new buyers BUT I would never again trust such a company. Basically never assume you will receive fair treatment from any of the fat cats.
I hope we are not going to see a repeat of that process here - although I suspect someone in Aviva spotted that SL/ ABDN 'got away with it'. As the old song goes "... It's the poor what gets the blame, It's the rich what gets the pleasure ..."

I am a current user of ii, having tried several others over the years. You can open an ISA more or less instantly. Their 'service' is much like all the other retail customer services, including LSE, meaning extremely average. They do eventually respond to questions, unlike here where all my questions go into the black hole called 'Your question has been referred to our technical department'!
