I don't think that any one fuel will be adopted universally . But the pressure is on for the shipping industry to act now. But wtfdik
Dp S sorry you feel so strongly about "negative" posts
As regards methanol I just posted links on WHAT I found duing an Internet search
if I had found artlcles on qfi/bio fuels... etc I would have posted them.... you narrow minded daft bu**er
I am heavily invested but I don't ignore news developments just because they maybe perceived as impacting negatively
Buletin boards arnt there to act as a fan club for a particular market They are for discussion and exchanging views. and information
As regards the future.... who knows.. In the short term (0-5years) I still think biomsar has good chance of adoption
Do you and Dip S have any views you would like to share?
Nothing.. SEE Dip S post
Indigo nobody knows how the carbon free shipping fuel will play out

I have 750,000 in my SIPP. 200,000 in a. ISA.
The wife has 200,000 in an ISA ( thanks to me)
I've averaged down over the years.
Dip S how many do you hold? ... and more importantly how lo g have you held em?
I want QFI to succeed but after 10 years..you become cynical and impatient.... Have you ever held a share for so long with no return?
Can't stick your head in the sand... .blind faith is OK.... but no harm in a bit of SWOT is there? After all it is a discussion and ultimately we all want to back winners. Methanol is part of the discussion... as is ammonia.... as LNG.. as are other bio fuels.
Let's face it in the absence of any news from QFI... what else is there to discuss?
.
Indigo.... after Jason's vague wishy washy AGM performance... I was very disappointed.... lots of irons in the fire for QFI but as a shipping fuel.. its
all to play for..... but without some industry titans backing it, I fear QFI will miss out....
Maersk are moving ahead of the curve trying to influence what the future IMO regs will be. First mover advantage if they are right. QFI need some big hitters to come out publicly and back BI
bioMSAR.... otherwise we are going to spend another ten
years as mushroom investors..... kept in the dark and shat on at regular intervals
Methanol seems to be the only alternative to bioMSAR.
To be carbon neutral methol cant be produced from lng. Methanol is already traded and moved around the world in large quantities. Interested to know what others think. Quadrise do have something but will it multibag and make us rich?

Myles probably buying back in?
That Jim Bowen comment probably probably left him in a cold sweat
HAVE you been picking your bowel with it?
Miles McNulty has sold out of QFI completely...took him a month to gradually sell out.....took a 15 % haircut ...how desperate was he to get shut of this b of s?
Aahh! Mexico......I feel an MOU coming on and you know what that means?..........Absolutely nothing just like all the other ones
Boy George....I do moan ....I have held these shares for a long..long time..and history just keeps on .repeating itself......problems...issues....I'm just sick of it..and yes I would sell if it wasn't for a glimmer of hope I Just might regroup my losses
QFI...12years ..no sales....paying Edison for research to make up for there shortcomings.....this bod make a Zombie company look like Tesla...
Well the signs are good.....lets hope QFI can stop being serial dissappointers
Years ago I used to read the 3i QFI BB... One poster in particular I remember and "followed" was "The Hog"...I rather foolishly became convinced of QFI's prospects and heavily invested...I am so deep under water with my investment Ill need to go into a decompression chamber should QFI's fortunes chane for the better
OK Indigo as you seems so knowledgable...perhaps you might know who appoints his successor?
You know I dont remember the exact date but probably 2011.
I Just wish the secetative cabal who originally bought the technology off BP using an investment company based in Switzerland would come forward. After all. who decided Mike Kirks time was up?
