I have and intend to hold LT,but I would like to see some part of the operation promising a small cash return (to cover costs for expansion) short term. i.e another asset sale or unprocessed ore sales.

Ringfencing the resource reduces potential local competition and also gives added potential to a prospective purchaser .I hope this doesn't get bought too soon but even for processing plants this is a very easy T/O target

I know he said elections,but like a lot of NVS's comments there is always a message in the background.Elections means that "as long as there is no reversal of new mining laws" by the victor.He is always conservative with his statements/comments and as I said Glencore (and other miners) will know what the future legislation is going to be and NVS(and probably the buyer)are just being hypersafe.DB has shown the way to earn multiples of earnings and others will follow suit.I expect more of these salary/share option announcements What better way is there than to give a bonus of £50k that they all know will turn into £250+

IMO RNS today is a £50k bonus for organising the sale of Casa,which when the Casa cash is applied to the Zam projects will significantly multiply for him.GLA

That reward (under DBs rate) and the news of Glencore DRC investment (i.e new legislation known) tells me that we may well have a Casa deal lined up

But have never sold a bean.Still looking good prospect ,but could get taken out at any time-hope not !

The MM days of cocking around with ARC at this level are almost over.By the time we have had the AGM the price will have increased to represent SSP and any other good news that is released .So they will have to start cocking around at higher levels.That's what they do (because they are allowed to )

it looks like when the Sentinel deal was begun,Cu was dipping and was completed before it began coming out,,so about 25% cheaper rates (Cu) than today.our fate will depend on prices in 6/12 months.Co grades will help. Previous postings on here about double the price ,must have referred mistakenly to assuming the deal was done in 1995 when the initial resource was estimated. Aunty on twitter posted Glencore to restart Katanga mine cu/co ,so I guess they would be informed of the new mining legislation,and it must be OK or they wouldn't bother-i.e Casa sale.

Can anyone tell me whe nFQ bought Kal/ Sentinel,had there been further surveys or resource estimates done other than the 1995 estimate re corporate pres. " In 1995, Kalumbila was estimated to have 6Mt of ore, however 1,200Mt ore at 0.5% Cu was confirmed after drilling and it is now the biggest mine on the African Continent by measured resources"

mining reforms poss to stop a reoccurrence.and as we said ages ago Chinese may be favoured.

As I mentioned earlier,I am pretty sure that the aerial survey will have been a prerequisite for one or both JV's men on the ground to justify the expenditure to their board(s).But one thought that occurred to me though is what happens to a JV project if we want to sell in total to another party?.

That's if we get a chance to see the endgame.If I were FQ I would be looking for a preemptive strike .They would need a JORC or at least a resource update on Kalaba,and perhaps an air survey to verify potential of other sites.

you are quite right China its ,"2 mining co.s" no Canadian mentioned for Zam,just for Casa.But FQ must be one of the 2 he mentioned .
