I would guess that when AAL saw an ex employee in charge they would have thought " we have an edge here",and termination of the EA with no further detailed planned action involving them may have come as quite a shock. Now news will be incoming and Rothschild are very active !

It will be interesting to see where on this planet AAL are going to spend the money that they have to ,in order to try and maintain their turnover and/or profits-the world is only going to get more complicated as all nations with green minerals look to increasingly capitalize (in house)on their assets. Potential Tier 1's are like "Hen's teeth" and whilst caution is good ,sometimes you just have to " grow a pair".

I think that AAL are more than able to develop all of our license area if they had the inclination,but didn't put their hand deep enough into their pocket (probably due IMO to Zam uncertainty).Arc would have had a nice comfort blanket around it if they had,but we were not willing to sell our soul for that early peace of mind. A lot just here for a quick buck have moved on and those shares taken up by those with a longer and larger perspective. Roll on scoping study and Fwiji assays and we will talk to those who offer a higher TOG rating.

look at it from the perspective of AAL.They have been burned in Zambia before and they would not proceed without clarification of the long term tax senario from the govt, Vague mumblings were made about friendlier mining terms before the suspension of Zam parliament but nothing concrete.August is when the election results are known and my guess AAL would have liked time to negotiate with the newly voted in government. But then if they played "silly buggers" we would be no further forward.With China snapping up every available deposit they can,the world is getting twitchy and sometimes in life Mr Cutifani you have to just do it ! Hyper cautious is not going to get any short term wins.
