We used to own a fraction of the license areas (under 30% fro memory) we now own about 70%-we faced an enemy that went to great lengths (Zam. T.V. news slurs, Newspaper slurs galore, A dodgy MoU and intimidation and theft), Co-ordinated Trolls with more ID's than you could throw a stick at.
We now have "Unique,never been seen before,outstanding" deal with one of the world's largest miners who are committed to spend more cash on exploration than our present Mcap. "Oh shut the front door"
The dust will settle here and the sceptical will be sitting in their offices waiting to push the buy botton on a DD sign off,the hyper sceptical will be waiting for drill results- Yes,that's how you might make safe money-but definitely not how you make real multiples of your money-Each to their own,but all I can say is i'm well chuffed with having bought early and held ! Jayber,your concerns are genuine.I can see where your hesitation to post comes from,but we saw an onslaught of trolls from at least 3 different directions so a few( genuinely concerned posters) might have got caught in the crossfire, it needed to be done because we were in danger (together with the CC) of their sentiment gaining traction ,but it is strange how the culprits/trolls seem to have vanished,or changed their tune.

DD has been done to death on Arc and the license areas,and all that will remain is to to DD on the deal,and woe betides any accountant who goes back to an AAL director and criticizes what they have negotiated and agreed !.Not even 90 days for me-drill bits will be turning at the very,very latest mid June

Nicely worded J99-As most will know I was always positive we would get some sort of deal-the 30% and AALs massive commitment to exploration investment is beyond my expectations-it is so unique that it's going to take a while for PIs to attribute real value.On the other hand IIs will be drooling.Slowly but surely this will gain,and at some point it will be folly for AAL not to bite the bullet,but before that we have a few gorgeous twists to come.Very,very relaxed now we have established base camp.

way off-IF Remy was right and eventually we all waited until the licenses were sold for $5b our 30% would roughly equate to 75p-you have to take out Kopara 30% and dollar exchange rate--We won't get to that stage ,but in the meantime we could have more than one Tier 1-lots of twists and turns still to come (but in a good way).

The problem they have is that the more money they spend and the more resource they prove up,the more value they create for Arc and the JV Co. one of which they will have to T/O eventually -it's a "double edged sword" for them.

In the next step of the New Dawn government’s promise to ensure the economic prosperity of Zambia, Angola American has announced that it will take majority control of its Zambia copper-cobalt exploration licence.
The announcement reflects a huge opportunity for Zambian private investment as it will be the first new investment by Anglo in Zambia in 20 years.

The deal shows that Anglo will receive a 70% joint venture with Arc that will own licences to investigate Zambia’s copper-rich North-Western province.
Furthermore, the deal reflects a financial win for the Zambian government as Anglo American will pay $3.5 million into the joint venture after signing. It will then retain its stake by spending $74 million within seven years and making cash payments of $11 million into JV.

Yes Chameleon exactly,but for AAL to take over that separate JV entity, they would probably need to take out Arc.It could suit their Botswana plans as well.If they only wanted the JV co. then a huge special divi could well be the order of the day-loads of news and action yet to come. Buzzing ....!

There is no way in a million years that Anglo would have wanted a tiddler like us to keep 30%--It's a double edged sword for AAL.The more they drill and prove up,the more it will cost them to buy us out ! We have absolutely no cash worries-The Casa deal looks like it is going to be even better than expected and majors are looking at Botswana. See Kevb's tweet.P.S. Sentinel is one of the world's top 10 Cu mines,it's "down the road and round the corner" we may dwarf it's deposits,and I have always seen us/AAL partnering someone i.e. like FQ to take our areas into production.As I said recently,there will be a reason that FQ didn't add Sentinel into their "Trident" development -it could easily have been "Quadrant" if they planned on keeping/developing it-they didn't WTS :-))
