3M at the moment. seems to be 0.39 to buy regardless of order size under that amount
maybe he hasn't got any more money to buy any? he's got plenty already
rubbish.
That 5M and the 5M & odds were both sells. I need the cash for something else so sold half my holding. Might buy them back next week if the price stays around this level
Mapp you posted this on BZM last Thursday, well before they crashed
"BZM
Another BUY, average 1.04
26 Sep '18
I bought on the 19th Aug 2013, first lot,
and today last lot. I had given up but could not sell
so low to those in the KNOW."
So you had an average of 1.04 and you were still holding them at 0.2 after the crash. Anything you bought back is now at 0.3 so you're now sitting on a reduced loss of 70%. Well done. I'm pleased for you. FFS give this game up for all of our sakes - please sell any FRR you have today. please.
Thanks RB40 - there is one important difference I've noticed in those 2 meeting invites. The one for this week does NOT say "..he looks forward to meeting existing and prospective investors." That somehow gives me more confidence that he will not be looking to set up a placing or the like.
You could argue it indicates he might not be looking forward to meeting existing investors this time but that might be reading too much into it!!
where are you flying from toatie? you can fly Flybe or BA from Edinburgh to City Airport but if you need to go from Glasgow it's not so easy
toatie last time we were in London we stayed at the Premier Inn London City (Tower Hill. Basic but great value and great location, especially if flying to City Airport) and will be good for getting to the meeting
The figures better be right - I've just bought a yacht and a helicopter on the basis of them. If those figures aren't right then they're going to have to go back. And I've thrown away the receipts now!
So $2002.5 bn divided by 15 bn shares = $133.50 per share which means I'm actually a billionaire!!!!! Yes!!!!!! I knew it was going to be a good day when I got up this morning
Don't know if anyone has noticed this but if you take all the buys from 9.26am to 10.49am it comes to 15,044,786. Deduct from that the date when FRR are finally going to give us some good news (13 August 2022 or 44,786 converted to a number) and you get 15,000,000 exactly. What could it all mean?
15 million shares is a drop in the ocean. It might seem like a fair chunk to some but it's nothing in the grand scheme of things. Even ten times that is not a big deal so relax. As Timster (hope that's not football related!) says 15 million is nothing. Many on here including myself hold more than that.
What interests me is why it is 15M every time. If I was trying to leak shares out without anyone noticing I would mix it up a bit. Is someone trying to send a message or is it just a strategy of doing it 15M at a time? And why 15M - it is an odd amount to come up with? It's all a bit weird.
misery to happiness surely??
My question re Spreadex was more;
Are Spreadex advising their CLIENTS who have shorts to close them (and if so in what way are they Spreadex clients - what do Spreadex do for them?); or
Are they advising people who have short bets on with Spreadex to close them?
This is a quite clear distinction - in the first case they would be protecting their clients but in the second they would be (potentially) protecting themselves
Can someone explain what Spreadex do for these shorters and how Spreadex are financially liable for any actions taken to close positions?
Thanks in advance
I'm confused by this. Who are Spreadex. Are they taking the other side of a short bet on FRR? i.e. are they effectively long? Why are they advising people to close their shorts (i.e. what's in it for them?)
Could one of you experts in the market (I am an amateur) explain to me the vital importance of what is a buy and what is a sell? And then define those terms? I'm not talking about Market makers driving the bid/offer price up or down - I'm talking about what difference it makes whether a PI buys or sells. Every share sold is also bought. Why is the seller the smart guy and the buyer the idiot? When anyone on this board sells a share do you really think the person on the other end of the transaction is less clued in than you? And vice versa when you buy? So someone either bought or sold 64M shares today. So what? All that means is someone on the other side either sold or bought them. They don't disappear they just change hands - there is no sale without a buy and vice versa.
Yeah I love a fat Essex boy with braces and a Filofax. Don't lean on the bar Puds…..
Yeah Puddy - that's right , you were the other clown involved in that shenanigans a couple of months ago (the one whose name I couldn't remember). Thought you'd learned to keep your thick head down but clearly not
None of you guys understand get sarcasm eh? No Tsbs I won't be apologising, and if you read it again you'll see that the "idiots" were meant to be the readers of the book. However judging by the outcry I may have been doing RB40 a disservice by claiming he had an agenda, so I will graciously unfilter him. I don't always look in here because I was put off the last time by the inane actions of Zib, Cheesie and whatever the other one was. It looks to me like there is some decent argument in here so I might look in a bit more in future. But I will always pull up a deramper. Or a mad ramper for that matter. I have too much invested in FRR to not take this seriously.
Quite right too :-) Although now I look again I can see about 40M described as "buys" between 9 and 10.30. I've checked in my copy of "RB40 guide to Identifying buys and sells for idiots" and can now see they were all sells after all.
Mind you I'm not getting worked up about it as every buy is a sell and vice versa so if you're long here it doesn't really matter
