Bedex I don't think anyone is bragging on here. If I had to brag I'd be bragging about avoiding this and making more elsewhere (which I could have) but I agree that £500 to one person is the same as £5,000 to someone else so holdings are irrelevant to how you feel about it.

Having said that I's be interested to know how many shares we as a group hold. It must be a lot. No doubt I'll get someone complaining but I'll tell you I have 20M exactly (never quite got back to 21M and won't at 0.5 - maybe if it drops a wee bit)

Stinky it's not worth the effort for a new poster on here. There is a cartel of half a dozen posters who conduct a mutual love in and talk pish non stop. I rarely get involved in case I get on their wrong side. There are a few who post relevant information like madpunter, regdik, etc. but they are few and far between. The rest are mainly a bunch of idiots.

Regdik the whole Q thing will blow over by tomorrow as the markets open and regular posters return. It's not worth getting all worked up over. It's not the first non-FRR thing discussed and won't be the last. I get bored when everyone starts discussing motorbikes but I know it's just while we wait for more interesting stuff to talk about.

FWIW I look forward to your posts and to those of many other very knowledgeable posters on here. Those are normally enough to keep everyone from getting distracted.

Thanks Exuberance I appreciate that and I'm glad someone appreciates the effort! I will be keeping it up over there. But they've all more or less crawled back under their stones for the moment. Re this board - I just don't think it's up to any individuals to dictate to others what they post. The usual "arbiters of quality" on here will no doubt start complaining we're discussing the ADVFN FRR board rather than the LSE one but hopefully they've all got me filtered anyway so won't see this. Don't reply though or you might get filtered too. 99% of any of my posts on FRR are directly FRR related but I will continue to say what I think re FRR or anything else.

toatie I don't disagree with you but all this "there's only 5 of us who post anything worth reading" is rubbish. If he wants a board with only his pals posting then he should set one up. that's all i'm saying.

Filter away Regdik. As you say it's a FRR Board not you or anyone else's private board. Go set that up if you want to control everybody.

regdik have you heard about the 5 ordinary punters on a share discussion board who think they own it and have the right to tell everyone else to post? Even on a day where none of the 5 are posting anything? I think it sounds like a good idea - so if you fancy it go and set it up and stop telling everyone what to do on here

toatie you obviously don't understand what shorting is. I think you need to go read up on it. Sells are not shorts closing. Buys are needed to close shorts!

You'll be pleased to know I'm extremely well educated. Well enough to recognise a bitter old man who has lost his shirt and is now desperate to see others lose theirs to make him feel better. If that's what makes your day then keep dreaming. I suspect your dreams won't be coming true though.

this is mad. I just had to buy 2M followed by 1M then another 1M then it wouldn't even give me another 1M. So I could only get 4M in total
