I don't think anything has materially changed in the last few days, has it? Without news - and with vocal anti-mining interests as a backdrop - the SP was always likely to retrace while we wait for a decision. The clever move would of course have been to sell out your shareholding at 18p and buy back in when we dip back under 10p (which I fear is looking increasingly likely).

Ticking up nicely this morning (3%+). Good to see there's continued confidence in the strength of our application over there while we all sit and wait...

Wow. So the price for Vanadium in China is up 37% in a month. To say this has yet to be factored into our SP is something of an understatement...

I'm pleasantly surprised by how resilient the SP has proven to be in the face of the UN intervention and the petition (less than 2% drop in Sweden last time I checked). I should have had more faith that this would be case given a) loud (if baseless) environmental opposition should be expected at this point, and so I'd hope would be reflected in pricing and b) the exploitation licence application is legally sound. I remain all in.

To echo comments already made on this board, today's RNS is an excellent and objective statement of case for the granting of the exploitation licence. It is reasonable, and also generous (I note the word "compensate" is used at least three times). It is also drafted in a way that would carry weight in any subsequent legal proceedings; an important point that I expect will be noted as the decision on the application approaches.

Very timely reminder in today's RNS that more than three quarters of the equity of BEM is now held in Sweden.

Helpful, in the face of inaccurate claims this is a UK owned company.

I'll be really surprised if the SP doesn't continue to appreciate over the coming week. It's amazing who is joining the pro-BEM league, whenever they hear the positive noises emerging from the Swedish government about mining, and the strength of our application.

Will our Swedish investors continue to purchase shares at a premium to the UK, increasing their shareholding of the company well beyond 75%? Interesting day/s ahead as I'm sure kurt will continue with his impressive strategy of calmly setting out the case for the permit application being granted without unnecessarily antagonising any key stakeholder groups. As someone pointed on this board point , the strength of BEM's application is overwhelming, and with the key blockers in central and local removed, the planets are finally aligning...GLA

I'm happy with this update. Production in H2 21 more impressive than I was expecting, and full year forecast for 22 of up to 4,400 mtV represents a c.20% increase over 2021 volumes.

This should be back on an upwards trajectory.

I've topped up too. In just a shave below 15p. Amazed the 16% increase in Sweden hasn't been picked up yet; clearly the mood music over there is very positive. Departure of Mr. Antti is significant for me.

I think you are correct re: the greeb light. Definition of greeb/grebe is apparently "any diving bird of the family Podicipedidae, related to the loons".

yes - back in the heady days of March 2011 the closing price hit 62p+. Intra-day, it even touched above 70p. I failed to press the sell button at the time, to my lasting regret. And I'm still here 10 years later. This time round I sold a chunk of my holding at 11p after the news of the Sami extension... but have already bought back a quarter of that! I fear I'll never make a living out of being a day trader...

I had a wobble pre-Chrimbo and sold half of my BEM shares, expecting the price to drop after the announcement of the second extension. I now wish that I hadn't, and instead had just sat down with a nice cup of tea as you suggest Shrew. I'll be back in like a shot if the price meanders downwards towards the 10p mark.
