Frigg I think more likely that SCLP is quite hard to trade in any size, therefore any sellers will try to sell into demand as and when it pops up. When demand really picks up loose holders will be cleared away.

Really good news, hoping the upfront is substantial and seriously bolsters the coffers. Now Covidity and a couple more chunks of cash through the door and the market will - at last - notice Scancell. Well done BOD we’ve been asking for years and finally we seem to have some action.

Currently 6p feels a little closer.
My hope is that the board can at least prove itself to be commercially minded rather than pursuing the well worn sleepy University lab route.

I agree, there is - still - a lot of potential and, hopefully, now the potential is more likely to manifest into something marketable. I think it’s 12 years since I first bought into Scancell. A extremely exciting potential multi-multi bagger with what seemed like a credible cancer busting -even curing - novel treatment.
Since then we have had endless promise and delivery of nothing (nothing brought to market ). The fear is another decade of jam tomorrow- quite possible.
SCLP board - do something, say something, sell something . If not, see you at 6p or less

We get zero notice .. which is how it has to be. Many of us will be delighted to see that deal happen tomorrow.. or earlier if possible . It amazes me how long one (I !) can be hooked in by vats of jam tomorrow which - to date- never quite materialise.
Money here could have been in (and out) of Tesla, Apple etc and made a difference. SCLP owes their shareholders a decent return. U2 take care

It would have been pleasant after all these years (12 ++) to have actually bought a product to market and generate some revenue. Love the potential but feel SCLP is run like a enthusiastic high school science lab with the commercial flare of a pipette.

I wonder the likely minimum time until there is something saleable, lets hope not another decade. Maybe a buyout or paid partnership though have heard that for the duration.

Im sure the new offices are inspirational.

Great to have Redmile on board. We are, of course, a tiny investment for them ($14bn+ AUM). Hopefully they stick with us and persuade our ‘research lab mentality’ leaders to add a bit of urgency to producing a monetised result.
