...the trouble with this one, and why im waiting before topping up, is that it is so difficult to value. We know that the funding is going too be dilutive but we dont know when/how much. Usually a share will get funding straight away and we therefore know how dilutive it will be. If Vyke need money sooner, before sp has a chance to recover, then it could be highly dilutive. If they can hold out until sp recovers, then it will not be as dilutive. ...The thing you need to ask yourself - irrespective of all the ramping/de-ramping going on - is will they need money sooner or later??? Over to you.

Trouble is, the further it falls, the more likely any funding will be more than 30% and therefore takeover waiver needed - this could in itself lead to more falls etc etc... Conversely, if the price goes up then the waiver is less likely which will push it further higher. Difficult one....

..stock was overbought on news of funding and distribution tie-up... falling now on profit taking, and realisation that funding is going too be highly dilutive. also gotta be aware that GEM may have to gain a Takeover Panel waiver if funding draw down goes over 30% of market cap. bottom around 11-12 i think....

i didnt say it was a fact that they wil draw £3million, i said IF they did it would need permission. I can post any number of analysts opinions on this if you like????

I hold shares in this you idiot...i am not scaremongering. i picked £3mill becasue this would be ONLY six month cash burn (based on H12009). if you read my previous posts you will note that i said this was a good punt but that is all it is - a punt!!!

my portfolio has 9 aim firms (including this one) and 1 ftse firm.... nothing wrong with the right penny shares... just thought id let people have some facts. thought that was what this board was about. rather than unsubstantiated rubbish.

im an accoutant - i think i know about company fundamentals. i repeat - it is likely that if VYKE needs a high proportion of the funding soon then they will have to get Takeover Panel agreement. FACT. i repeat - i have shares in this.

....would rather take their advise in to account than any monkeys on here!! I suspect they have better research facilities than you guys. ....and if one broker is not enough, then another says.... Given the lack of visibility over revenues, profitability and cashflow, and the dilutive impact of the funding, Vyke shares are risky to say the least. ....Like i said before, i have these shares, but hate all the ramp ramp ramp on them...

At current cash burn the company will have to drawdown some of the money fairly soon. At current market value (minus 10%) if they wanted any more than £3 million they would have to get Takeover Panel waiver becasue GEM would own more than 30% of the company. The drawdown facility which Vyke will need is highly dilutive..... Just some perspective rather than the ramp ramp ramp of this share....

i give up.... ill take Hoodless Brennan's (one of the countries biggest stockbrokers) advise. As far as they are concerned further funding is required. You lot do what you want....

funding is NOT in place. They have a line of future credit. Vyke Communications (VYKE, 14,75p, £9.32m) Has signed a distribution agreement with Steen Group for its VOIP products across Latin & South America. We maintain the shares at a HOLD in anticipation of equity dilution from a capital raise.

this share has had good news over last few days as redarrow et al point out. However, we are still waiting for an announcement on funding so caution is sensible. I feel that this is a good punt but let's not go overboard either way.....

calm down! i said i had shares and CAN see the potential. I was just clarifying for other people that funding is NOT sorted as you stated. It is called perspective, so everyone can make an informed decision....
