Still hold 352169 shares and will continue to do so. Hurts when I see what others can buy them for. Thats the way it goes. Look forward to some recovery.
Echo; anything to do with JP should not be touched.
Plenty of buyers piling in.
MM's must feel ashamed, actually taken the sp up. toe rags!
I'm not a contrarying investor but if it gets any lower I will be tempted to buy , if that makes sense. This company is up for sale at a give a price.
under 10p now to sell, will hibernate and await whatever, but won't sell at this price. Some big buying so hopefully someone will offer a fairer price.
Many a time I've wanted to sell but when the sp drops I have ended up buying more
Edit i3 drilling summary just popped up.
Shocking what is taking place. I still hold 352169 shares, some bought at over 40p. I hold because I believe the company is worth far more than the mc and look forward to appraisal of Serenity ?
We need an RSN to support the sp. What is happening going forward?
We know we have another drill so to me, again they weren’t confident in this drill. I think this next drill should be a step out drill on Serenity and seek to appraise it. We are just piling up debt when it’s obvious the don’t fully understand the OWC/Peaks in liberator. If we can bring it to production/Unification/ Farmout, at least we can manage some of this debt.
Well I still hold all mine after adding 90k yesterday and a total 340k. I don’t think I’ve done wrong, but time will let me know?
Might not be a good result but they live to fight another day and the rbl is still there to negotiate.
I topped up 90000 today and couldn't go thro' that again.
From what I can see, they are all punters throwing in the towel with small trades.
I don't believe seismic was fully processed in the first place. They thought it was good enough for a drill ( pound foolish), and were caught out. Their are different Geophysicists and one would process the seismic to an acceptable level while another Geo would aim the drill bit. Do we have physicists or is the interpretation from an outside source? I think they have learnt their lessson and have 100% confidence in the next drill. imho.
One of the best posts I've ever read, posted fromBigBiteNow
Badly burnt last time but back in with 212000 this afternoon. Good posters convinced me.
Tullow identified four prospects in the north-east corner of Orinduik block, which could be developed as a cluster with the Jethro Lobe, these include; the untested Jethro Channel prospect, two other Tertiary prospects and possibly ExxonMobil’s Prospect 17* which may be contiguous to the Jethro Lobe in the Stabroek block. The extension of an active, mapable oil play outside of Stabroek also bodes well for other operating groups exploring the Guiana Basin in Q3 2019, notably Repsol which will test the Carapa Cretaceous oil play on its Kanuku block and Apache which will investigate the Maka prospect on Block 58 in Suriname.Prospect 17* appears to be; After completion of operations at Tripletail, the Noble Tom Madden drillship will next drill the Uaru-1 well, located approximately 6 miles (10 kilometers) east of the Liza Field.
Sorry off topic; Thanks for that Itsyou
Like that part; Edison tried to do this 100 year ago. So we now know what the future could hold. I won't buy an electric car because the last I knew is the battery could only achieve 1200 cycles and a hefty bill at the end. Its early days but his battery can do 3k cycles and he is trying to make it smaller. No good keeping oil in the ground, best get it to market as quick as possible.
Agree, we need the likes of the super majors to do the dirty work in Namibia. Gil has said its a massive area and that's why there's no discoveries. Plenty on our plate for time being and we should stay in the Tertiary . Exxon doing HH appraisal Q2 next year; we should be doing appraisal of Jethro early next year. Seismic being further appraised for future drills with knowledge gleaned from Jethro. Reckon cash raise next year as appraisals have a cost, no matter what they say about cheap appraisals.
