"I am expecting the MM to raise the SP before the holidays"
Might do, but only if they see buyers
I'm not sure it's going to bust out spectacularly. There are plenty of impatient holders with low cost prices who might sell into any rally. But the trend will be up for sure, the basic investment case is very strong.
And, of course, if there is one thing I've learned from this board, it is that you have to be in it to win it (© @LawrenceH)
I don't usually pay too much attention to the turnover in London but isn't that a bit higher than usual?
I think he feels its not really appropriate, given his new gig

Seems logical....they know what production looks like, and they won't be buying if the numbers suck
Since it’s not approved anywhere I would have that there is no chance of getting it outside a trial. Maybe contact the company?
Makes sense, IMHO. Too easy to get caught out trading.
The trouble with looking at it like that is that it takes no account of how the company is doing. You’d have to see how the share price does vs one or more valuation metrics, like P/E. If the co. gets more undervalued post consolidation then you could call that a negative response, if it goes the other way you could call that a positive response
I think the post asked whether another poster would open a position in SNG now if they had never held it. Personally I wouldn't, but then if I don't think it's worth having at this price, why am I still holding? This is the inconsistency I was trying to point out. Poly aren't in the same situation so what I was trying to say doesn't really apply to them.
I've missed you!
Do we know they are finished?

Who says they aren't? Judging by their most recent trades (that we know of) their view is clear and consistent. They are not only holding on to their expensive stock, they have added.
"I did put it in inverted commas FTC7!!"
Ha Fair enough!
" the "upbeat" look of Richard Marsden"
Arrgh
That would be the logical and professional approach. However, for some reason I think I’ll hang on here.
OK thanks
I’ve never heard of that before but I can see that the psychology of a share price is a strange and wonderful thing.
"The SP is where it is because of results."
True, but there does seem to be some evidence that a better directed and managed trial might have produced better results, and the design and execution of the trial is the responsibility of the company. RM is ultimately in charge of that.
"Would you buy in your total investment today from scratch? Doubt it."
Yes I'm always happy to point out investors' lack of logic but while I am holding on to my residual position in SNG in the hope that something will come of it, I don't think I would start buying a position now. That's an illogical stance to have.
"I believe it will unfortunately wipe out smaller holders ‘
How will it wipeout smaller holders Lawrence?
