The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Interesting to read your experience at grass roots. Makes you realise how essential good management is. Get rather fed up with this BOD continually blaming 'challenging' market conditions for their failure. Hard to believe these were over 800p not that long ago. May be the iis have forced a change at the top?
'The independent directors are seeking to resolve the position by the end of February 2020 at the latest. '
Should not be long to wait, and once this sorry 'saga' is done and dusted, more normal trading can hopefully resume.
'Keith Daley, Executive Chairman, has purchased 2,500,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 36 pence per Ordinary Share (the "Purchase").' I read that as a 'big' sign of confidence going forward!
A few more % gained! I think just for once it might be true to say 'MMs want your shares'. Pity there are still so many sellers around otherwise we would be flying.
Just bad news after bad news. Wonder now if they can turn things around? The full year results for 2019 are going to look pretty terrible judging by all the 'warnings' they have issued.
I wondered about that .Should be good for business. Companies will have to get their replacement staff from somewhere. No more cheap EU workers. Staff specialise in blue collar workers, so should be right up their street!
It would certainly seem that the suspension has been instigated by the NOMAD as they are not happy with what EUA has been telling them. As for a sale, suspension is simply not the procedure. If they had received any buy out/take over offers at all ( binding or non binding) they would (1) have to inform the Market immediately. (2) After potential buyer has done DD etc and made a firm offer, recommend reject or accept and (3) shareholders would have to vote yes or no.
Why do people keep dreaming that this suspension is due to a potential sale. There is no evidence to that effect whatsoever. If the NOMAD is not satisfied that EUA have been telling the whole truth, they will walk, and you will need to find a new one quick or get delisted.
Directors abandoning ship! Expect a red day here too unfortunately.
Tough one this. Bought on Friday, thinking the SP was finally on the turn after weeks of falling. (That was a mistake!) Octopus Investments are pretty well out now and Gresham have been buying according to recent RNS's. Most of the 'bad' news is hopefully written in already. Now the Brexit outcome is known, perhaps there will be more stability to the recruitment market? Staff have their fingers in a lot of pies, surely one of them should succeed. £33m mrkt cap seems low for the potential here. But as ever DYOR. GLA
Just as an observation, announcing a placing seems to be a common tactic for cooling off an over inflated share price. Seen it several times on AIM recently. Tough for those who get spiked though! Another reason to always bag some profit when it is possible.
NMC have produced and update of sorts regarding the whereabouts of the major shareholders shareholding. I expect FIN will do the same shortly, If he can remember who he pledged it to of course! What a complete shambles!
Seems JP is joining BOD of AST as Executive Chairman! Probably accounts for the AST 31% drop this morning. Frankly, think he should concentrate on getting Coro up and running before chasing more dosh for himself!

Good or bad for Zoetic?
Lets hope so. This was artificially hammered down by L&G selling recently...they are probably out fully by now. Plus IC buy rating. Should be in for a rebound in theory! £25.4m cash in bank at end Dec but only £31m mrkt cap now. Only 78m shares available. GLA
It is possible the MMs have got themselves in a pickle here selling shares they don’t have, and since people are holding on to their shares the situation can only get worse. I expect they want clarification from the company as to what the state of play regarding a sale really is. There is also something fishy about those large delayed trades showing up day after day. Wait and see.....?
Very disappointing performance so far. The last CEO interview sounded very upbeat etc, claiming the current SP was a bargain, compared to the potential rewards, even taking into account the horribly discounted placing at 15p. But if they never deliver, or even give any updates on progress how is anybody to know. On the plus side, the ii's who own 70% of the company seem to be holding firm for now at least. With such a small free float this could rerate very quickly on any positive news.
