My current company is producing hydrocarbons and thus emissions. We have been told to reduce out CO2 emissions to stay profitable as buying carbon credits is beco extremely expensive.

Come on boys, sell your shares or short. In a world where we will all have to pay for our carbon footprint, not extracting some assets will be valuable in carbon credits that you will be able sell. Look at the carbon pricing to see where we are going. We will be living in a strange world but it is coming.
