Depends on your broker, with iii the deadline is Wednesday 12th
Thanks for the response.
I just found out I can sell the rights I don't want before exercising them! So I sold 280 for a few quid (every little helps), and am now down to 400, which I am comfortable claiming nearer 12th April.
Hi all, I am with iii and have 680 TUIB rights, I think I only want to buy 400.
There is no option to sell within the iii interface. Is that because I haven't licked the option to 'exercise my rights' yet? Reluctant to click that and end up with 680 shares when I only want 400.
I am also with III. I can see the TUIB shares in my portfolio, but can't get a quote to sell any. This might be because I haven't exercised my rights in the corporate action area yet. You type in a number to exercise rights, but if you want to sell a portion, do you type in a lower number? It is a bit confusing to say the least.
Your wish has been granted :)
Painting today's fall as anything other than a market wide malady, casts a very illuminating light on your posts. Or haven't you looked at the LSE home page during your "research"?
If a buyout with AA is going to be for a multiple, say 2X, of the average share price a week ahead of the sealed deal. Could Mr 250K be getting all his ammo somehow via AA? Who else would have so many shares to sell and be interested in keeping this share price down? Genuine questions.
I accidentally missed out the following concluding sentence: "And I'm sure they are, I'm sure the geologists of Rio Tinto and First Quantum Minerals (TSE:FM) and a few of these other companies, are actually looking at this very closely, because I think this is, the grades are so high, that this is something they have to look at."
John Meyer, mining analyst at SP Angel: "Well, if I'm allowed to put three stocks into the portfolio, there's Arc Minerals (LSE:ARCM), because it has a great copper discovery in Zambia, and we're still assessing it to see how big it's going to get, but drilling out today says that very good grades, great intersection widths, and we're looking for this to be at least several million tons of copper ore, grading something towards 1% copper.
Now, that's a small mine as it stands right now, but it's still open in the various dimensions, and I think there's still a potential for this to become a relatively big copper discovery and something that the majors will take an interest in."

Penant is forming, pressure will tell one way or another this aft.
David Emm, principal security researcher at Kaspersky Lab UK, said: “We welcome the proposal to require companies marketing smart devices to comply with minimum security standards. Smart versions of products that have never traditionally been connected, such as baby monitors and televisions, have been available to buy for some years now, while remaining vulnerable to cyber-attacks due to the failure of many companies to build in security at the design stage when developing smart devices.
“Having an industry standard requirement, that all connected products must adhere to, would make all items available to purchase much safer when used in homes across the country. The labelling system that is proposed can only enhance this, allowing consumers to easily check if smart devices are compliant. This a very positive step in making sure consumers are safeguarded, and much better equipped, than they have ever been before. For too long there has been a neglectful attitude towards customer protection, and with billions upon billions of connected devices operating everyday around the world, it’s reassuring to see that action is finally being taken.”
In light of today's new isn't it good to hear that GM will make Cadillac its 'lead' electric vehicle brand?

Isn't the news as above important to DA/ TERN as "DigiCert, Inc. selected to manage PKI and certificate authority services" in the new USB Type-C Authentication Program announced yesterday by the USB-IF?

So very many trolls and derampers endlessly repeated the lie that he was secretly 'dumping' stock, so it is very good to see his increased holding in this TR1.

as per title. They will take my modest 40K holding with open arms though...
Seems like quite a few sizeable sells have gone through in the last half hour. However no impact on the bid/offer should mean there is a background buyer mopping up.
Keep your foot on the gas ELCO.
Yes, great buying today.
me too, can't buy
