Have you got a box of matches ready for the flare then?
Thanks G15, interesting.
So, I held for two years and look like breaking even? I don't even get my low ball 24p sell out price. A true dog to the bitter end. I'll vote yes and if possible sell for 19p in the market.
that there is no bid anytime soon for HUR stock. I have just seen the recommended cash offer for Amerisur AMER at a bit over 19p. Derisory is my assessment. I hope for better from HUR.
If nothing else, the RNS following the rumour will have woken the flare watchers up!
"I think it's pretty safe to say HUR have a ******* shed load of oil WOS."
I hope you're right! When are the people with the fat cheque books going to notice though?
Well, myself it's a bold claim for a company with diddly sized confirmed resources. A quick Google says this -
"Traditionally, the definition of a giant or super-giant oilfield has been a field whose reserves exceed one billion barrels. Super giant fields are generally ones whose reserves exceed five or even ten billion barrels."
How's Dr T square that circle then if the audience has these expectations?
This, I am liking. Very much. Is this Dr T telling us something in code? "the UK’s next super-giant oil field"
Nothing's going to happen till there's a DST and flare is seen?
Looking increasingly like those who thought this was a small but reasonably well run oil company with a decent future were entirely wrong and face a total wipe out. I averaged down to 9p and reckon I can write it off now. Good job it was only pin money though it does hurt a little to be so wrong.
Apologies, I mean - OK, I get the picture. There is no evidence whatsoever in the public domain that HUR stock is being "manipulated" in malign fashion. It simply is what it is then.

Someone, please show me the evidence of price rigging in HUR stock? And how it can be done for several months/years whilst the regulatory bodies do not notice? Serious question. Thanks.
Sir, all your questions and more besides are answered in the technical papers and presentations held on HUR's website.
Come on now, I only want another miserable 5p on the price to sell. How long does a guy have to wait for this pittance to materialise eh?
londoner7, I think we are saying the same thing.
If they are starting up on board gas compression, that's a good move. Reducing flaring and removing the dependency on fuel oil being delivered by ship. Helps to keep overheads of power generation low. A wild guess from me is that Aoka Mizu has an electrical load of around 8 to 10 megawatts. A fair old consumption of premium price gas oil. Every little helps when bearing down on costs.
Apologies, I mean 6 months not 18. Oh, for an edit button.............
"18 months ago the SP was 25p why didn't you to then"
Good question. I'd only held the thing about 18 months so I bought into the seriously undervalued story at the time. With 20/20 hindsight, yes, I should have sold.
I can't buy into this talk of inflated bids being made. The market isn't doing either. The market presently has just a 1p premium over the first and so far only bid at 17p. If the market saw a potential 5x upside from where we are now, we wouldn't be here and I'd have already sold. 24p would be a fair result for me on what is a serial under delivering stock. I'll be happy to see it put down.
