If it gets to 39.08 I am buying myself a big present (not with Sirius money) - when I first bought I had so many negative comments (only bec I’m not the share buying type) that in my head I began to write the money off. I know it’s early days and everyones view of serious money is very different but at 39.08 my portfolio in Sirius becomes serious money to me. It’s also the only proper money I’ve been able to earn myself since I had to stop work. Whatever happens in the run up to production I’m trying not to think of it as ‘real money’ so if Stage 2 doesn’t go our way I shall just go back to thinking of what the share price will be at production bec my plan is not to sell anyway - well - that’s the theory!

I know how you feel gimla.it took me years to get work out of my system. I missed it so much. I had to take a desicion to end my career in advertsing which I loved to become a carer for my special needs son. It was also really hard to leave the money which after years of hard work had finally meant I was earning decent money! Although I’m not at retirement age quite yet I think there is a lot to be said for living life as much as you can while you can. My dad died young as well Scotman and never got to enjoy his retirement. The problem is that usually means spending money so in your head you want to save as much as you can while your younger to fund your retirement and help your children if you have them, The thought of not having enough money when your older is scary. I worry now for my children as it’s so hard anyway let alone them having money to put into pension. I do admire all our younger investors who have been able to invest in Sirius however few shares they may have. Luckily, although I’m cross with my husband for not investing in Sirius, he has worked hard and has enabled us to stay in the house etc without my salary, but when he does stop working that is going to be another unknown stage!

The way I feel about SXX is - yes it is in the high risk bracket, that’s why the share price is still low, many people particularly those dealing with other people’s money don’t need to buy now - they haven’t got the incentive. If all goes well they will just pay more when milestones have been reached and the share price will rise. But I’m older, I was fed up of playing everything safe and I wanted to make some money and if your going to take a leap of faith I can’t think of any better way of doing it - SXX has got to be one of the most low risk high risk companies to invest in due to its BOD and the way they do things. I just hope for all of us it is successful and something really positive is born - but of course there are no guarantees but you only live once and you do have to make the right and sensible choices (unless you have a bit of a mid life crisis like I did)!

I wish I lived near15LIVES and Chesh - it would be great - they could sort out my boiler and electrics and I could chat about Sirius without being told to sell my otiginal stake (we could plan £1 party)

Just seen share price!! Why am I nervous?!! It’s getting very near to my 39.1 which is a huge deal for me!! And when that happens I will be very busy telling certain people ‘I told you so!’

To me it feels like the last few weeks have been a very confident build up to Stage 2. It’s a bit like the Company is sending out a message to LTH - ‘Its happening, all under control, we’re comfident’.

Honestly - when I see an early email from Sirius my heart starts beating faster!!

My weekend seems to have been dominated by cracking my iPhone screen twice and I think the highlighted of it is going to be Love Island - but just wanted to say I do really really appreciate everyone’s posts and research and effort - I do believe in this project, love being part of it, am glad all my shares are in an ISA bec it makes it much harder to ‘sell them and borrow the cash’. (bit overdrawn)! I do think LL and SL are genuine posters - I might not agree with their views but I have changed my mind on both of them and appreciate their posts (although don’t like them arguing with PAAA but given up on that one)! I might not know a lot of things but I know this mine is going to get built and it’ll be a lot less stressful if Stage 2 is kind to us shareholders. It’s exciting .... news is round the corner! Myosotis - I’m the same - one of the other things that drives my husband to despair is I’m a fan of a big shopping channel (he doesn’t realise it saves lots of money)! Because of Sirius I bought a fertiliser type thing for plants which had amazing reviews. I’m not a big gardener but this stuff really works - being a Siriius shareholder has opened up a whole new world!

If you bought at 35p - the share has taken so long to get back to it - I don’t understand why you’d sell unless it’s put you off’ - wouldn’t you just be pleased to be on the verge of making profit?

Heard on radio our PM is having big meeting today to discuss Brexit and Northern Powerhouse. Surely Sirius will come up in that or is that just wishful thinking!

Quite funny just popped in on mum and she's sitting watching teletext with Sirius in 350 Winners of the day - they were second now third. When you look at the price of Sirius compared to all the other winners of the day it's got to be the deal of the day - nearly 3 shares for a pound!

Can you ask Scotman?

When I read yesterday in the Shares Magazine article that Sirius had 25,000 share holders my first thought was that this seemed quite low and that this figure would soon go up and we were the lucky ones bec we had got in early. I tried to google how many shareholders some of the bigger companies had but didn’t get anywhere and didn’t like to ask on here bec I thought it would be a stupid question. But after this mornings news hopefully everyone will be in a good mood so I can get away with the question - is 25,000 quite a low number of shareholders for Sirius?

It’s a bit of a reality check for me living miles away and not really knowing anything about the construction industry - I’m getting on with my life, posting on this board, watching a fairly static share price, waiting for finance to be agreed and news on TorPs. In the meantime so many other people are working round the clock to get this mine built and successful, even to the extent of getting injured. It’s very real and happening and I hope they are okay. .

Ooops! Was going to write a big post on my frustrations with Trade Bill - better not now as my cover could be blown! Good luck Rosewall - great charities - hope you raise lots of money!

Heard on a news report that investment opportunities in both countries were discussed at yesterday’s meeting. Wonder if Sirius was mentioned!

When I first bought into this share about 21 months ago I literally felt sick. As I have said before I used our extension money and immediately lost quite a few thousand. But when the share fell again to 17p I thought I’m in so much trouble I bought some more. And that was thanks to this board. I know everyone says you shouldn’t trust a board like this but I felt unlike almost everyone I know (apart from my mum) that I wasn’t alone in my positive thoughts re Sirius and I really appreciated being part of it. I’m up about 31% and haven’t sold one (apart from putting into ISA). I told my husband after quite a few months when I was back to my average. He’s happy with my SIrius shares now but the fact he still hasn’t bought any after all my nagging proves to me he will never feel comfortable around shares. I always knew that and that’s why I bought them even though I knew if it went wrong I was on very dodgy ground! Having said that I would never do it again - but if ever there is ever a chance to buy Sirius shares cheaply I would make him buy some! After all that - I wouldn’t want to sell!
