Thanks makes more sense now. I should have worked that out really lol.
Either way I’m here long term as I believe it’s the only way but I can’t help check on my shares every day and the share chat just for the fun of it all.
Thanks Hydro. Makes sense now
Thanks Geckos, appreciate the response. Yeah I’ve seen quite a bit from the regular posters etc.
I’ve only just started adding more companies to my portfolio so although been investing small amounts Nkre recently I still get confused by some things.
You mention that MTR may be a 1bil company. What
I don’t understand sometimes is why a company can be let’s say valued at 50million and be around 20p a share, but another company can be also around 20p but LSE has them valued at say 500million?
Mostly I have been investing most from word of mouth from people I trust and have a good knowledge of investing although i just thought I’d ask the views of a few on here.
Thanks again
Evening all, I am a new invested to MTR and can see that there seem to be plenty of very informative posters here.
I’ve been going through as much info on this company as I can but wanted your views on the drilling that is taking place at the moment? Where do we see the share price being in the next 12 months?
I’m asking as although I’m invested I can’t quite make my mind up where this share will be (although I’ve heard nothing but good things)
Current share price is at decent levels although it seems it’s been hit and miss over the years.
Cheers

Hey Tiggerman, I have also invested in MTR this morning. Although I am paying 18% more than 2 days ago but think it will be worth it. I must say i have seen the chat BB and can see the GGP regulars there too so that fills me with enough confidence.
60% of my portfolio is in GGP but it's nice to add a little where you can.
Thanks Prae for the info, from what I’ve read so far and what you have said it gives me more confidence that the 20% chance mentioned, I guess time will tell as I’m not interested in selling so it’s all or nothing i suppose
@littlegiddings
Thanks for your response, I really appreciate it.
I do understand what you said about the increase in risk regards to AIM shares although now you have said you see this share as a 20% chance I’d say it would be worrying.
That being said my other money which is also in an aim abs quite a lot is invested with research and confidence that it will return a good price.
My research I’ve done so far in this share seems like it will be a good investment but can you explain further why there is a good chance it will fail?
Thanks for your help.

Good afternoon all. I am relatively new to the shares game. I have had a SIPP for a few years and only started an ISA last year with just 1 company invested in (Gold and copper)
I have decided today after looking around that I would invest some more of this years ISA in Helium One.
From what I can tell so far, it's a strong buy but long hold for hopefully big returns.
Can a few of the more informed investors in Helium One explain where they see the company in the next few years etc as I know Helium is meant to rocket in value.
Thanks Fr4nky
Thanks for the reply’s and ideas. Like I said im heavily invested in GGP and was happy for a private message so not to cause offence to anyone.
I have plenty of others now that I can look at now as well as increase more in GGP when I can.
Really appreciate your feedback.

Hi all, firstly sorry that I am asking about other potential investments on this board. I am currently invested in GGP for 100% of my portfolio and although I am looking to invest not only some more in GGP I would like some ideas of other good companies to invest in with regards to copper or other metals etc. I would really appreciate just a few pointers (private E-mail is fine, I can provide if need be) as I would like to expand my portfolio further but just need a starting point.
Well I have decided I need to stop looking daily at this share as it’s driving me mad. I have no desire to sell, although it’s just painful to see this share slide everyday.
My investment is not huge to some, but to me it’s all my savings but I firmly believe that it will be rewarded on the next few years. A few years ago when I first started investing with my SIPP i would have sold by now and waited for the bottom but that never worked for me and was a mistake. Keep hold of your shares and tune back in on a few months I think.
Hey... My Son lives in Earl Shilton and I live just outside of Earl Shilton... Not sure who the post was aimed at though so thought I would respond.
Thanks for the info. Sounds like it was good news overall then. Even though I’m not selling anytime in the next few years I can’t help check the bloody price multiple times a day although at least now if we have a bad day it doesn’t worry me because I have read too much positive info from everyone.
Hi, can someone explain what the latest results mean for GGP and shareholders. Are we looking at being in the blue tomorrow we think?
Is this what people were expecting?
Thanks Dillon.
Sorry for my negativity, With the issue of more shares, what does this mean exactly? Is this a good or bad thing?
I have about 2 weeks to wait for my money to arrive with H&L, if I can get in under 30p I will be happy. It's not a big amount as it's an old pension with a company I wasn't with for very long and only around 6k but it's still better than keeping it with them.
Same for me Oilmonkey, everytime I tried the short game I always time it wrong. In the past I have too been guilty of selling when I have seen a drop but after a couple of years I have now learnt to sit on my hands and I no longer worry about it and just keep my money in GGP. Unfortunately I only managed to get in at around 17p originally and then again just recently at 23p but I am more than happy with that I'm just waiting for the rest of my pension to be transfered to a SIPP in H&L so lets hope the rise is not too fast until I can get some more brought.
Thanks for all your help and quick responses. I did manage to open the ISA account and only took a few minutes due to them already having my details and yes it's all updated on the app.
Really appreciate it
Managed to buy in, I have been waiting to see where the bottom was after the recent manipulation and hopefully I have found it. Managed to buy at 23.3P. Either way i'm here for the long term anyway, the same as I am with the SIPP account.
Lets hope we start seeing blue now for a few days!
