Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Yeah your right Neutronic, clutching a little lol, looking through pictures found that the same prototype is used by Abingdon tests on a picture from one of their news articles, I found interesting.
Neutronic on another note you don’t happen to be part of a Warrington based firm for motors and electrical components do you, it’s a strange name to pick?

Hi mr-pr
Did it look like the one in the video below 2:35 in.

You will be sorely missed sir.
Just one comment, Avacta have never stated this would be easy and have been heavily reliant on 3rd parties, they are completing a process that should take 2-3 years to get right.
If you are that short sighted good riddance, nothing has changed, the company are in a very strong position, testing is going to be around for years and not just in the U.K. but globally.
This tech will be used to kick start the economy, millions of tests needed for sporting venues, air travel, public travel, concerts, restaurants, bars, cruises. All around the world, I would hardly say it is a boat that has been missed.
Ta ta for now!

On a brighter note.....
The test kit looked really well put together in the video, can’t wait for the release.
Ignore the idiots ladies and gentlemen this company is going to be HUGE!!!!!
I believe they are well ahead of what was released today and we should get some very exciting news over the next week or 2. I am going for out of lockdown timings for major news flow but not too bothered if I wait longer. Amazing company to be involved in and once again provides solid evidence of how powerful the affimer platform is.

Changing thread,
Guys it is getting ridiculous on here, Avacta and certainly sir Al have in no way failed yet, they are bringing together an amazing amount of work in such a short time period, yes we could have rushed it through and picked up some early contracts but 6 months later not used as bigger better tech will have launched and the Avacta brand ruined.
All the steps are being done thoroughly and right, we have partnered with big respected companies, secured the companies medium term future and are pushing the cancer play.
If they get this right at the amounts we are talking globally it will catapult this company beyond our wildest dreams.
Have a little patience and trust in the company you invested in.

Getting a little sick of all these half wits turning up to add a negative slant even though not invested.
Really don’t understand why you would bother turning up to a BB just to spread fear.
Anyway lots of news to look forward to, exciting times ahead and sure there will be a few bumps in the road but I am really excited for this companies future.
And please will you twats give it a rest with AS selling a small percentage of his holding to buy a family home in the area of this company, he has worked for 15 years developing this company and look at what he is creating, amazing performance this year, secured the companies future and has a lot of projects live and running. Now if you don’t like it sell and f@@k off, if you believe in the company and future value, stay, discuss and research
Wonder how much of a slice we will get?

FML another one with a god complex, it amazes me the need to divulge ones life’s work on a BB when replying to the likes of AW.
Might want to re-read your posts tomorrow when the effects of the finest malt has worn off.
Can’t wait to get your feedback after your chat with your legal team about a poster on a BB. Again FML
I dont post much but have enjoyed this little exchange, even though it has stopped me getting some work done :), I think PL75 has a very interesting point just below, I forget the figures but the gov have not allocated very much of the £5B allocation on these new tests. They need to progress all tests as quickly as possible to fight the cause and will be part of a risk management strategy. I have not found one test that can out do the potential of the Avacta test.
As I say the gov have to progress these tests it is another string to the bow even if they arent great it is something. Now if I had seen a test comaprible to Avacta's potential I would have de-risked my investment here but again I havent.
Wyndrum the choice is yours, it is your money, if you still believe in the company and the direction it is going then hold but it sounds like you are starting to see many negatives that is swaying you towards believing that the company has not delivered on your expected timelines.
Just for clarity I dont see a company ploughing ahead like avacta with distribution deals, key employee positions being created if this was not going to happen. I am fully aware of the risks and have had the unfortunate experience of being caught out before (FRR, URU) but I believed in my investment, I was new to AIM at this point but believed in the fundamentals of those investments and was too green to spot red flags.
If the test does not hit expected highs then so be it, we then have a choice to make, wait for the cancer play to recoup losses or cut and run. I personally am very happy to wait and watch this play out over time, COVID is with us for a very long time unfortunately and we have time to perfect out test to be the best in class.
Wyndrum, your moaning is starting to get on my nerves, noone on here has a crystal ball, the fact the CEO stated soon is down to interpretation, soon within how long these things normally take (1-2 years) could mean a couple of months. Lets face it they have done extremely well so far with progress on many fronts and have kept us PI's well informed along the way, Avacta cannot worry about other tests on the market and simply have to engineer there test to be the best it can be.
This will take time as there are many components to it, now the choice is yours sit tight and continue to believe in the product regardless of what others are doing or sell up and put us out of the misery of your ramblings.
Every test that has been released thus far is not a scratch on the potential test Avacta can offer, so lets wait for the news to drop. Timster made a very good point this morning with regards Sona and 7 weeks to refine their test, if you look at their share price through this time it went from 3.49 to 2.69 and a few other peaks and troughs before blast off.
