We will soon learn how clever the economists of the G7 Nations are. My guess is that we will soon see $150 per barrel of oil. Our leaders appear to be determined to de-industrialize the Western nations. That said, expect good things to happen here. Massive, neo-Communist, production taxes permitting.

smiller. I'll let the RM off this time. My coins are related to our late Queen. So, I don't think, well I hope, that there isn't any problem in the nation's ability to supply us with Silver bullion.

Smiller. I purchased circa £500 of Silver coins, mainly limited editions, on 8th September and still haven't received them. They say that they are dealing with a backlog.
So, the answer is. No, I don't trust our nation's Royal Mint. I'll claim my Gold coins, sharpish, the moment Official inflation goes above 30%. Let's hope that we never see that day!

StarBright. I own a few coins/bars of Silver and am paying -1% per annum for the privilege of the Royal Mint holding a few Gold coins for me. Are they an investment, purchased to make money? No. I have them, just in case the World goes crazy and we actually see hyper-inflation here in Good Old Blighty. If we get to stage where the Middle-Class are exchanging grand pianos for a few sacks of potatoes, a few PGMs will likely go a long, long, way! As they say, Hope for the Best, but Plan for the Worst.

stevebt. The shareprice spike was built on potential. True, we've plumbed the depths now, but the shareprice rise of 2023 is being built upon Iron. There's nothing wrong with profit taking, as the good times rarely last, but methinks there's plenty of upside here.

The_Bishop. Sorry, but my run of bad luck, circa 14 months, in everything I've touched seems to have come to an end. The Midas Touch appears to have been restored back to me. Ergo, I'm up for a bit of friendly ramping. I promise to stop now that some serious money has started to trickle in.

J-M. Unfortunately, the Russian heavy bombers are lining-up on military runways. The civilian casualties are set to sky rocket. Putin isn't happy with the energy price caps. As usual, the little people will pay for their policy makers little games.
