Versarien plc ("Versarien" or the "Company") Agreement with Luxus Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Luxus Limited ("Luxus"), to develop a UK graphene enhanced polymer supply chain to enable the production in volume of graphene enhanced plastics. Luxus manufactures high quality thermoplastics from prime and recycled polymers and is the largest independently owned plastic manufacturer in the UK, supplying plastics to the automotive, packaging, civil engineering and a variety of other sectors. Utilising Versarien's proprietary Nanene few layer graphene nano-platelets, this collaboration will involve the incorporation of graphene into polymers to enhance mechanical strength and other properties. Versarien has a contract with the Warwick Manufacturing Group ("WMG") with the objective of optimising the performance of graphene enhanced polymers on Versarien's behalf, including the employment of dedicated Versarien resource. This new collaboration with Luxus is designed to ensure that the developed plastics can be produced at commercial scale for supply to injection moulding companies, such as Versarien's AAC Cyroma, enabling products to be produced for a variety of industries. Peter Atterby, Luxus Managing Director, commented: "Luxus constantly strives to be at the very forefront of thermoplastics technology innovation. We are excited to partner with Versarien to take this goal to a new level and redefine performance, durability and sustainability in the plastics industry by harnessing the benefits of graphene." Neill Ricketts, CEO of Versarien, commented: "We are delighted to have signed this agreement with Luxus. We look forward to working with Luxus to ensure that a viable UK supply chain is established for the production of thermoplastics enhanced with Versarien's high quality graphene. "The signing of this agreement is an important step in the commercialisation of graphene enhanced plastics. We are seeing strong interest from a variety of sectors in utilising the materials we are developing with WMG. Being able to produce these graphene enhanced plastics in commercial volumes will enable them to be more rapidly adopted for use in a wide variety of applications." This announcement includes inside information as defined in Article 7 of the Market Abuse Regulation No. 596/2014 and is disclosed in accordance with the Company's obligations under Article 17 of those Regulations. Hi Ben I like many hope you are correct but nothing is a given on aim . What have you based your prediction on ? For sure it certainly is a very exciting share with massive potential and has made amazing progress todate Good luck ff
Sweet and sour graphene more sweet than sour Ff good luck all
Lse99 Why do you think a trip to Brussels in particular to tie up the Ip protection . Maybe a graphene flagship meeting .
Don't Vrs collaborate with the Exeter uni A super strong and greener concrete has been created with the help of wonder-material graphene, which Exeter University researchers say could help tackle high carbon emissions in the construction sector. According to the researchers, using graphene creates a concrete twice as strong as standard concrete and four times as water resistant. It would help lower carbon emissions as around half the normal amount of concrete would be needed for construction. Graphene has been widely hailed as a revolutionary material due to its strength and flexibility; it is only one atom thick but stronger than steel. Ff
Honeststu I'm with you on that not ramiping , totally believe it ,on paper it's gone up and down by a lot of money to me but not lost a wink of sleep . It's just so exciting best of british here Gla ff
Tip of the iceburg if all goes well Ff
Yep its good its going back up here for the £1s not the pence on this one
Dito Big picture is my strategy
Yes I agree I think I there should be hype over graphene it's could change the world we live in with many products and technology . So I guess it's exciting news quite a few global firms seem interested and are looking into it in many different sectors . Investors who have dyor will know this ? Very exciting times the hype has not changed it is getting nearer and vrs can produce the product in Quanity and quality !
Munchbox Good luck with that Ff
Yep im the same What has changed it has just got better and better in the last 6 months Its under priced is my view Looking forward to moving forward Gla
Fatherelmer Glad you ate well and positive . I value your opinion you have been a Vrs holder for years and bring balance very often to the board Good to know you are still about . Yes I was pleased with the Rns and it's possible potential I don't always expect a sp rise from a Rns Ff
Captain -H I think you have said it all for me . A lot of people are only excited followed by a Rns and a price increase focusing solely on the sp increase , for me that is not always the way it works a Rns can be equality as exciting , when you look into in a bit more depth and look at the potential magnitude of them . Potentially massive opportunity for the future if it is the suspected company . Massive resources and expertise to be associated with . Who not to say others may follow ? Dyor as always .ff gla
Fellow investors Stop for a minute . Take a step back and look back to where we were 12 months ago or even 6 months ago ?? ? Well if It appears that Vrs are dealing with many of the top global companies in a good few different sectors now !! We only want a Apple -amazon - Nokia - Samsung-dyson- Tesla - Astra Zeneca BMW Ford to name s few . Maybe even a global cement manufacturer next or big health firm . Just To add to the list and we're all very secure for the future . Guys stop and take a look at any aim companies and who they are dealing with . Then ... Look at the companies versarien are dealing with and the different sectors they are in . we just want one big deal with any one of them ! Exciting stuff truly . The big picture could be very big indeed . Where is fatherelmer these days . Well Done NR and the team . Gla
AGM Were once £4 a share based the hype and news and potential that they could produce commercially ? Vrs can produce commercially and supply quality graphene and Nanene . Haydale were once £2 a share . So in my view vrs share price based on their current progress collaborations Unom connections China uk govern not is very under valued ! This is a different beast with backing ! That's why China wants to get involved and the uk government and global fortune firms are interested . They have come along way further down the road from other graphene companies . Does that not seem a fair view point ? Thoughts please Ff
Good luck and well done on your profit Vrs have served you well . Everyone has a exit point and commitments in life . Bwishes ff
Munchbox 54 Always pays to be cautious on any share dyor as always Re graphene - nanene . There are Massive implications on just the tyre market alone if it comes off and they can enhance their performance . Seems likely ?? The major tyre companies must think there is something in it . Given graphene conducts electricity implications to electric vehicles too maybe in be future ?? Its not going to go away british govement involvement chinese goverment suggests massive potential . Gla ff
Crackaboom Re the profit comment what makes you say that . Ff
