Hi moneybox007,
I was going to do a similar thing, wait for dividend then look to sell, but saw that there were some large Director sells Dec 22 ish, so I have bailed today. Rather lose a bit of potential profit than kick myself for not acting when I saw something that made me think I should sell.
Looking for some help here. I can not undrestand the latest RNS. It looks like someone has opened a short position but on short tracker etc no shorts are shown?
Can any one explain please.
Is it just me or are these a great long term buy?
Thanks for coming back (and Realist1) I was a bit worried that the expectational spell of cold weather would create lots of insurance claims. However it does not seem to have had any adverse affect on the share price as you both alluded to.
Does anyone have any feelings how the Microsoft buyout of Activision Blizzard will affect Gfinity?
any
Hi Basilius,
I think it is because and amount a single holder has less than 0.5% does not make it onto the list.
Me too at 78p, it been a long wait.
As a long term share holder who is still not at break even, I have been looking at the press ref the court case with interest. Everything I read, seems pro Cineplex. However over the last 5 days Cineplex shares have gone down 0.64% whilst Cineworld have risen 16.69%. I must presume that people who know more about it than me have made their mind up in Cineworld's favour.
Hi Dragon,
Thanks for taking the time to explain that. It makes more sense now.
How can this web site show more shares bought than sold in a day, when as I understand it every transaction has to have a matched buyer and seller or buyers and sellers. Also how when this web site shows more buys than sells can the price go down. I am a long term holder of Cine world 20% down at present.
I would guess that the price is drifting is due to the fact that car insurance premiums are lower now than for a long time, so less profit in it and a bit of a disincentive for Saga customers who have / are going to lock in for a few years.
Thanks Flybynight a clear explanation of something I hadn't really realised.
