Rose tinted DD - I wasn't invested when OCIM were about . But they couldn't go ahead with what OCIM presented - I did attribute to either party ... However OCIM wanted something they couldn't have by law so the deal could never complete , it's old news - very old news.

I think you a very right there JC, however it's also worth pointing out that OCIM changed the deal at the last minute and that is why it fell apart - they wanted security of the Mine, which is not allowed under Kenyan law.

And the next funder that came along approached GCAT rather than the other way round.

Gold producers are struggling lol - No Gold producers (Majors) have record amounts on their balance sheets and are being pressured to reinvest or buy other assets. Perhaps some should take a look at GDX - and no that is not a cross ramp or stock! And GDXJ. When Gold moves the Majors move first , followed by the Juniors - it's not rocket science, and neither is the price - it has barely started. If you are taking a short, and I mean very short term view of Gold I really don't think many are prepared for what is coming.

With regard to Tanzania it's rather more complex than it was before, however African countries are fairly rapid with licences , you could be sat somewhere and wait over 10 yrs. Tanzania have recently changed the law regarding permits and licences . TYACKS are 100 % owned by GCAT and two licences are for Production while the other are older exploration licences. The Government have basically said unless you have the Financial clout to produce nothing is happening, GCAT were already going down this route so does not really impact them . It would seem pretty feasible from months of satellite images that GCAT are still extracting and processing High Grade Material from the hill.

JC has been here quite sometime and a reasoned poster and investor, then along comes a newbie decrying the world is about to end because HL don't have a stock feed.

Well I"d listen to JC before the Newbie and the one that is forever rattling his head against the cage..., and whether it shows on any Broker it's pretty much not relevant at the moment. It does not impact what is going on. Yes there have been delays, jeez you get delays in everything .

It's inconvenient that's it. Invest in anything it will be down at some point , and invest in stocks at the start and expect a rollercoaster . Patience is required .

We'll hopefully any restructuring would perhaps mean a better equipped BOD with more Mining experience and more business experience . It's certainly been a rocky start on this journey - hopefully the jigsaw will start to come together soon.

That’s the opinion of Liberum Capital’s new energy analyst Sam Wahab about Helium One Global Ltd’s (LON:HE1) progress across its Tanzanian prospects.

In his research note he reiterates the not insignificant figure of 4.7% which relates to the flowing concentrations of helium to surface at the company’s Itumbula West-1 well. That, he says, could represent ‘a world class discovery.’ He also reminds readers that Helium One has found pure helium which contrasts with larger industry players who have found impure helium often associated with hydrocarbons. “It costs more to pull those two commodities apart,” says Wahab and that pulling apart process “doesn't really tick that ESG box.”

The company's extended well test at Itumbula in the third quarter of 2024 could determine whether and how Helium One can commercialise what it has. The hope is that what is has is a consistent concentration of 4.7% and that it’s plentiful.

Contd - (other targets) - The success of the exploration progam on Vim Rutha has meant that most of the activities will be focussed on confirming it's a discovery of economic significance and then moving quickly to an initial MRE. Activities across the balance of the exploration licence will continue these include, West Kilimapesa Hill, Teng-Teng, Maghor and Olepoipoi.

Vim Rutha clearly involves Capex and there are many targets surrounding it- These are from a 2022 RNS (13 Dec) - Caracal Gold plc, the expanding East African gold producer with over 1,300,000oz JORC-compliant gold resources, is pleased to announce sample assay results from its Diamond Drilling ('DD') programme on the Vim Rutha prospect, a shear zone of about 4.9km parallel to the known orebody at the Kilimapesa Hill deposit ('Kilimapesa Hill') at the Kilimapesa Gold and Mining Operations in Kenya (the 'Project'). The drilling intercepted, on several occasions and over a distance of more than 2km from west to east, one or more mineralised structures of significant thickness located a few hundred metres south of Kilimapesa Hill.

Highlights

· Assay results confirm the Vim Rutha prospect corridor is intensely gold-bearing, with mineralised intercepts returned from historical diamond drilling as well as the vertical and lateral extension of one or more parallel mineralised structures, over several kilometres of distance just south of Kilimapesa Hill.

· To date, 107 holes totalling 10,424m of the planned 12,000m Reverse Circulation ('RC') drilling programme and 21 holes totalling 3,637.7m of the planned 3,000m DD programme, which commenced in December 2021, have been completed.

· Results continue to demonstrate the high gold potential of the various exploration prospects located in direct proximity to the Kilimapesa Hill deposit or in the same geological environment.

· Results of 722 samples from Batch 5 have been received and results from the DD holes include:

· The sixth batch of RC and trench samples have been delivered to the laboratory. These include samples from 21 RC holes and 2 trenches from the Vim Rutha prospect.
