I think the main point is that the market will drive the price down, if they anticipate the biggest shareholder reducing their holding. Whether or not Drahi needs to sell isn't the point, the market predators will force BT's stock price down at the mere hint of it.

Hi Bertie I have considered LGEN, but I've decided to keep directing reinvestments into my existing holdings. In the future should my stocks see significant price recovery, with LGEN remaining cheap, I may decide to direct cash there.

Mandy you're correct BT, VOD, or LLOY could suspend or cut their dividends, I could also sell my stocks turning a paper loss into a capital loss and invest elsewhere in a company that also underperforms, or goes bust. I've decided on a strategy and I'll stick to it through thick and thin, I wouldn't do what I'm doing if I didn't see a future profit; I know the future is a dirty word for you, but I have choices with the dividends and I'm in no rush for a jackpot quick win.

The video of FG wasn't news, it was a promotional video. It was aimed purely at hyping QBT , no wonder he looks uncomfortable.

Antpool and Foundry are consistently the top two miners, currently processing nearly 60% of the blocks at ridiculously high hashrates. All anyone on here can do is guess whether QBT's software will perform, if I was them I'd probably approach one of the smaller miners and use them to obtain real world results. I'd be really surprised if the big miners would risk interrupting their operation to incorporate untested software. The miners need to keep the wheels turning 24/7 and i suspect it would be really difficult to integrate QBT's software into a big mining operation.

Correct, so assuming QBT's software works in the real world and if all the miners used it, they'd be worse off than if non of them used it, worse off because they'd have to give a cut of their profits to QBT for using the software. Personally I have serious doubts whether QBT's software will perform in the real world, with the amount of data the bitcoin network crunches every second.

There's more to life than stocks and shares Toff. Mandy, as far as war's are concerned it's irrelevant to my shares unless it gives me an opportunity to pick up stock at a discount. If I wanted to discuss war I'd present my views on a different site, since I did express an opinion about the Israeli/Gaza conflict on a Lloyds thread and the whole thread was subsequently removed. Also, should the World go to War there isn't much I can do about it so why should I worry?

It isn't surprising since your current broadband probably has a lock in period, if you're under contract; Transferring from O2 to EE will require a new contract with different timescales to your broadband contract. I recently moved providers from Plusnet to EE and even though Plusnet and EE are both BT companies, I still had to go through the process involving transferring my number using a PAC code and setting up a new contract. It's just the way it is when you change providers, all telecom companies work the same way.

It's worth reading what QBT have officially said:

By evaluation do they mean testing? If they're using the SaaS Client/server architecture purely as an evaluation/testing tool, when will that lead to revenue announcements. Something else to consider, with the current speed and difficulty of the Bitcoin network how well will a client/remote server model work in the real world?

Before I get accused of trolling, I think they're fair questions.
