Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
Yes, so far it has been range bound for 5 years and it is annoying! However, the price will come alive once things start to move. This could be in a week/month/year but we are certainly much closer to a result now than ever before. Just my opinion but it would be mad to reduce your holding after a five year wait knowing that all three deeps are currently being worked on and are the priority for the company! They really want to get the deeps flowing now. Clive made that quite clear at the AGM. I'm not betting against them that's for sure!
You need to be able to play the long fame if you are invested in the right company! For me, CASP is the right company. There is a real chance to 10 x bag from this level and time is not an issue for me.
Mrc... I don't work for the company and have been posting on Aim a long time before I bought casp. If, as a 5 year investment it is not enough but as a six year investment it is 450% then so be it! Thats just the way it goes! Those that invest now might have a 300% rise in a few weeks! For me, investing is about picking a company that will do well over a 10 year period with trading opportunities.... I did the same with SOU and a few others in the past.
smasher... I have been thinking King about A5 while in the bath.... The mud was on site on the 1st of August. They were going to drill out the previous casing and liner and replace. Thinking about it... That is a very quick job! The well is already drilled and the work could be completed in a matter of days! As we are so close to interim statement, I wonder if we will get a nice detailed report in early September? Could easily be two Wells flowing by then? Thoughts???
mrc... So take your money and stick it in the bank at 2% interest with inflation at at 2.5%...much better investment for you. I will stick with my 30p thank you very much. With an average of 6.5p, that gives me around 450% return in 5 years.... Plus dividends to come! Each to their own and good luck with your rainbow chasing!
adrianz...cc has sold out so he is bashing the price for a lower entry. His choice and his risk. Personally, I don't think there is any point selling anything at this point. The downside might be a few percent but the bounce back will be savage and if he doesn't buy back in before it comes, he will need to spend a lot more to get a new position. We could easily get news on 801 flow this week and possibly news on MJF, A5 and 3AB. I agree with you that CASP is successful, just not in the time-scale that most private investors would like. Most can see the potential and where we are heading, but they are annoyed being invested for so long without a return. That's just how it is. The re-rate will be very quick so trying to trade the highs and lows is risky at this stage of the game!
Go on, tell me when I posted about SEY? Find the post and get the date. It must have been many, many years ago.
Hold on cc... You are lecturing me about shares available when you just totally lied about CASP being a falling knife??? When I checked, there were no shares to buy and this has been backed up by adrianz. News next week? 3000bopd flow? Can't wait!
When have I ever ramped SEY????? I haven't even looked at Sterling for about 10 years! lol...
Cc... Have a look at the one year chart... What falling knife? Now have a look at XTR one year... Now that's a falling knife! Good luck chasing rainbows mate. I'm a buyer at this level.
Cc... You keep selling... I will keep buying. Very happy to be picking them up at this price. Problem is there were no shares available to buy on Friday afternoon... Says it all.
JoeSoap - please read the rest of my post re testing of the wells. They will not be left at full flow during the tests and after the tests, they will reduce flows so that they are just producing enough to cover the G&A costs plus and drilling costs they have. They will conserve oil until they are getting $45-50 a barrel after the new licence is granted. They may wait until the licence fee is scrapped before applying for the full licence on MJF. They are obviously weighing up the options and will do what is most cost effecting for the company. All work now is on getting the deeps to flow. 801 should be reporting shortly on progress. We were at the final stage of the clean out so the next stage will be flowing the well and getting some figures. A5 should report shortly on progress. They should now be moving to drilling there and getting the liner replaced. At 3,800bopd, this is probably the most productive land well I have ever seen drilled on AIM! 146 is right at the edge of the MJF structure. We needed to drill it to delineate the field edge. Not all the MJF wells can flow at 700bopd as at some point, we drill the edge of the field and it will become harder to produce oil - as at 146. We still have 10sq/km of shallow oil that we have proved up and we can now move it to a full production licence! I added some more yesterday and also on Wednesday. I'm not in this for a quick return now. I am in for the dividends and shares are being bought into my ISA. As Clive has stated, we are running 7-8 months behind now due to the cold Winter last year but all deeps are still in play and MJF will be a big producer next year. My view is certainly to add at this level.
You know the song mate... When the going gets tough, the tough get going... Lol cc has been in here since around 2012 so it has been a really long wait for the return so far. It does feel to me like he is Dalling at the last hurdle though. Time will tell I guess!
Some of our long term investors have given up on CASP. The wait has been just too long. I personally wish them well. I can't say I agree with selling at this point but they are entitled to their opinions. Adrianz, I am with you fully on this one.
Cc... If you listen to all the recent interviews, Clive states that the full potential of the current MJF Wells is 4000bopd. They are in a testing phase now in order to get reserves estimates so they are not all on full flow all the time. They will be using different chokes, shutting in the Wells to get pressure readings etc etc. This is not all about flowing them full pelt. For reserves, there will be a variety of tests to perform on each well. They need the info for the new licence.
Cc... Really sad to see you leave... I mean that.
They are waiting to be able to give the market some proper results. Hopefully they are already flowing and will give us some numbers over the coming weeks. Let's all have a blinder of a weekend and be ready for what next week may bring!
MO... We are nearly there mate. Not long to wait now.
P. S. 30p is just the start here. The end game is my £1+... Enjoy the weekend cc and all! We are getting so close now.
Cc... I know you can take zero as you have sold all your shares! You will be gutted if 801 is flowing and we hit 30p...dont pretend you won't! Then on to A5... The main event!! I'm fully loaded and ready for results. Mms having a little fun this afternoon and it's making me a little excited!
