Air Tanzania first Airbus A220 Gaining shape with a very beutiful paint of giraffe on the tail ,the plane will serve Destinations like Lusaka, Harare and Johannesburg with some other domestic destinations, this brings the low cost carrier FastJet more in danger.

With this we will see why fjet reduced service on LUN and HRE , ATCL will take up the 3 x weekly slots on this route probably forcing fjet out altogether by reducing prices until they have done so.
Marksman, the food i was told was much better when it was indeed , buy on board, but when the policy changed some two months ago to the current one free hold bag and snack included on every ticket the quality has been reduced.
Good luck with whatever you decide re open offer, you could well be right.
My areas of concern in not doing so are,
1 Are Fjet buying the ERJ because it’s Solentas way of getting it’s money back or is it really better for our company to own them? .
2 Is it potentially an unofficial condition of Solenta further participation in open offer,
3 Fjet TZ How much are we selling it for? Or are they just taking it for nothing
4 what will Fjet TZ pay for continued use of franchise?
5 Mozambique will come under INTENSE pressure when Ethiopian start its new Mozambique Airline
6 will Nico repeat the TZ mistakes when he opens S A base ?, i e , aircraft and crew grounded while regulatory approval is still in process.
Marksman, good to see you on here, the food was AWFUL, better to charge and give something that resembles food, I did mention this at end of flight to crew and they did say it’s being reviewed as complaints were in abundance.
The Flight crew were lovely and i did tell them of my investment status, the FO was very adamant Fjet with survive and even expressed excitement at the prospect of SA base next year as once current ERJ are localised to Zim and Mozi she would miss the fjet flights she is currently operating under Solenta.
Correction ZSDFC
Forgot to mention the snack box served on board was inedible.

FLIGHT on time both sectors
JNB TO VFA 44 pax (capacity 50)
VFA to JNB 48 pax ^^^^^^^^^
Aircraft benefited from recent paint job however very tired on the inside, seating comfortable.
No inflight magazine on board on both sectors, very disappointed.
The crew were a SA based crew therefore Solenta cabin crew, very polite and professional as were the flight crew who kindly allowed a visit after landing in vic falls , apparently fjet about to add a second daily Harare Bulawayo service.
You are entitled to 57 new open offer shares at 1P for every 10 shares you own,
That is correct, if i had got in at your price i would subscribe to the open offer to reduce your average share price and hope it grows from here, for me it’s not an option as I’ve had enough of this company, good luck whatever you decide.
Could anyone please explain to me what this latest RNS means in reality to the small Fjet investor please? Is it good , is it bad? Have we lost our money?

I agree, Solenta played a blinder, just flown Fastjet Jnb Vfa, flight full both ways, the erj equipment very tired, also I note ATCL about to announce Services to Lusaka joburg and Harare, is now a good time for new investors to buy in? Probably, but not for me , also closed the book on this one, but would love to see it succeed, let’s hope Nico does not spend it all at once in SA !
Personally i don’t see TZ franchise survival at a continuation of unsustainable losses
Continues operations
Still waiting on news of Fjet TZ
Tyche EDENVILLE ENERGY now being targeted by same Magufuli tactics
Back to fjet, they kept it virtually grounded for months bled it dry in Tanzania and about to buy it for a poxy Tanzanian shilling, And our CEO is letting this happen, Wonder what J Kibati is getting out of this having returned

The budget airline Fastjet Tanzania could form a mouthwatering partnership with Tanzania’s national air carrier Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL), according to Fastjet Tanzania’s first executive chairman Lawrence Masha.
The former Minister of Home Affairs announced the company’s plans while updating the press on the developing news of Fastjet Tanzania being own by Tanzanian investors. In addition to the partnership which would scale up operations in the aviation industry, M. Masha hopes to steer the carrier to improve the tourism performance of the country by offering quality services for its travelers.
Fastjet Tanzania has experienced wobbling performance in the Tanzanian territory that has compelled the board to reconsider its operations in the country. The air company has fallen short of funds to support its day-to-day operations, with potential finance investors pulling out of the business.
The new changes, especially at the helm, should open a new chapter for the airline that has a fleet size of four crafts. The forecast partnership with Air Tanzania, which has a fleet of five is a signature of good tidings in the aviation sector in the country. Air Tanzania is gearing up efforts to make an international appearance having established itself in the East African region.
There could be more good news for Fastjet Tanzania that also looks to collaborate with international airlines as it set to expand its operations in the future beyond Tanzania. Its local destinations include Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, Mbeya, and Mwanza. Since its inception in Tanzania in 2012, the air carrier has served more than 2.5 million passengers.
According to Tanzania invest, the total number of air passengers in Tanzania increased by 62 percent in the past five years, from 2.1 million in 2010 to 3.5 million in 2015. The robust growth shows the importance of air transport as a business connecting network. The government of Tanzania has hence boosted its efforts in ensuring the sector grows.

Read above FT article if you have not done so already
Masaimara
Fjet Tanzania will have nothing to do with fastjet once deal goes ahead, the only future revenue would be for use of the Fastjet brand.
Big question, for current holders like me we will never get our investment back ( never say never , highly unlikely)the disposal of Fjet Tanzania equates to the disposal of the huge losses which come from TZ, it’s difficult to make judgment for new investors as we don’t have details of the buyout
Who will pay for the costs incurred re ATR72
How much revenue will be recieved for use of brand by Fjet TZ
Will Fastjet be able to access locked funds in Zimbabwe soon
Mozambique could potentially become a cash burner once Ethiopian starts it’s Mozi Airline
Will Nico be wreckless and start operations in SA BEFORE we are financially healthier
These are some of the questions i would want answers too before investing as a new investor, having said that, you may have INVESTED just at the right time!
Deal still being discussed
