3/4 years ago I had to sell all the shares I owned in 4 or so companies as I had the offer of business deal that I could not refuse, although I lost out on a lot of gains I had made previously i won in the end as the business is now thriving,
My point is this, if you are going to want your money back in an instant do not put it on a stock exchange,
I now only have truly surplus money invested so my patience is off the scale, Q4, that’s not very long away at all IMO.
So all these folk demanding updates on a daily basis when they have been told Q4 should consider the above or just stfu and chill….

Well it doesn’t,
I took the view the mine is up and running, machinery is ordered, we have a new bridge, ore is being stockpiled, no further funding is required, superb management team credentials, c300 mine workers who must be doing something getting enhanced wages, HUGE director shareholding, The list goes on, BUT most importantly of all, the ramping had stopped and the bashers moved in….
That’s the indicators for me to throw in money I could afford (although prefer not) to lose.

There is no point trying to discuss anything with ‘the crew’ as there is a clear agenda across platforms to disrupt as much as possible for their own ends,
Now I have ‘ends’ myself but my strategy is to buy in low (when others are fearful) and sell high,
All this ‘ buying high and bashing’ business doesn’t seem logical to me,
So if it’s all the same with you I’ll stick to my own method, I’m all for being a contrarian but I think some here have taken this idea waaaaay too far

Sandy I have been through the mill myself bud, I’ve been in situations where a bank wouldn’t touch me, I’m now 3months from clearing my mortgage 9 years early,
I’ve had half a dozen businesses and some of them really did not work out, my current company is cash rich and exceeding all my expectations, yes there have been bumps in the road, yes I have had to keep my cards close to my chest throughout and others have fallen by the wayside as I progressed, but things are finally, through years of hard work paying off,
I am into my second marriage as I made a mistake in my first choice of partner who got involved in drugs, I currently have very happy household with an A star student teenager son.
Now should should I be judged on years gone by where things have not worked out as hoped or should I be judged on where I have gotten things to today.
All the hiccups en route have made me the person I am today with nothing negative in my life BUT there are people there in my past who no doubt still be where I left them complaining how it’s everybody else’s fault they are in the position they are in,
So IMO,
Andrew has done a stellar job of getting this company (BP in particular) to where it is today, and just as my above it’s been bumpy but if it were so easy would everybody not be doing it, don’t be someone from the past complaining, dust yourself off and get yourself some positivity moving forward.

I was just looking at the time of your initial posts today and wondered if you ignored the ‘advice’ you got from the very helpful ‘not invested’ folk here.

If you did ignore them you are probably very happy with your 10% gains today ;-)
If you listened to them then there’s a lesson for the future,
If it was so bad they wouldn’t be here all day every day would they bud :-)))

Another good post there Sandyshore, for me the risk reward in your post there is highly favourable, I think personally both figures are at the extreme but happy enough to keep accumulating,
Also all this negativity from others is in fairness an attempt for some lth’s to get the best possible price to bring their unfortunately high averages to a level where they too can reap rewards once the tide turns,
IMO this could happen any day now.
