What is the lowest that this share can go to?
70p? 65p? 60p? 55p? 50p? Lower?
At some point some company is going to wonder if it’s worth buying PFC.
As of Sept 2019 the shareprice was c.404p that is with SFO issue. When that cleared pandemic and all the shareprice bounced to c. 200p from a low of c. 125p. If the CEO leaves and there are bids and potential work coming through this magnitude of a fall is rather overbaked.
Hi All, I’m new here, just a general question, has anyone seen a trade go through as buy but being shown here as a sell? I have stock in HBR all good here, but I’m asking about Petroneft seems like it is showing sell rather than buy? Really weird.
Just bought 150k shares, again it is listed as SELL!! What the hell is going on with this website?
Just bought 25k shares, the only person who has and it is shown here as a SELL! Wow!!
Hi all, I’m relatively new here, I have a question, I bought 350,000 shares on 20th May just before 4:30pm UK time, yet there is no record in the historic trades here…I do have them in my account. I also bought 100,000 and they are showing here in historic trades.
I forgot to thank you about my query daveycaferacer many thanks.. I’m holding onto my shares, regardless of how the US FDA exercised their power, I hardly doubt that a clinical study in one country leading to a good efficacy would mean no efficacy in another country. There is anti china sentiment in the US regarding China and Taiwan. When all said and done, personally I think the potential is still huge in this company, and I believe they will have other drugs in the pipeline in the future. So it is probably tilting towards a buy unless the shorters keep doing what they do…good luck everyone, dyor.
I agree. I’m new here, hello everyone. I’ve had these shares some time and they climbed and now we’re here. But let me ask, if the FDA has not approved it “yet” but it can be used in China, then since the population in China is rather large, why the over selling, and present state of the stock price. Is this driven down somehow?
Hi All,
So I was a bit curious to see what the volumes look like from 13th Jan 21 (sp=171.9p)to 20th Mar 21 (sp=96.7p).
Between 14th Jan and 22nd Jan the sells were dominating to the tune of 72.85 million.
To give you an idea of how heavy that was between 25th Jan and 15th Mar the sells were 68.85 million.
If you look at the total sells to buys since 13th Jan it is 182.23 million to 94.28 million, so about 2 sells to every buy.
So then I looked at some way of ascertaining if a share is transitioning between a nett sell or a nett buy (cumulatively) sort of like trying to see if there is a switch or slow down in agressive sells or buys for that matter. What is interesting is that you can’t be tried for the same murder twice, if you’ve done your time. In that the SFO, potential fine and suspension (not ban) is effectively all factored into the current price point. Shorters are doing what they do, short.
So to answer the question in the best way I can in order to get to around 180p we would need to see a nett buy over sells to the tune of around 75 million shares, which depending on when the SFO finish up could equate to (assuming sensible buying, and it won’t be because it will be a bit of a frenzy) a nett buy of say 0.5 to 0.75 million shares per day and would approximately equate to 100 days to 150 days. So, anyway that was me just looking at some facts and looking at projections. DYOR.
Hi All,
New here, just observing what the buy vs sells have been when the first drop happened from 180p to 130p then then this slide to sub 100p. In that first drop there were almost 25 million shares sold off and then a quite a bit of support before this second slide. What I am seeing is more buys than sells, like 2 million more. The company has been hit by the SFO, and I am sure the suspension by ADNOC is temporary, both of these factors are not going to be around for another 1 to 2yrs. What happens in the meantime Petrofac will and is pursuing work in other parts of the world and will continue to do so. The share price feeds off news like they all do, but here it is so over done. If you are looking to make reasonable gains then it will be possible in a few months, not days. I am no fortune teller, none of us are, but the people who were responsible for this SFO issue have been dealt with and it has been more than factored into the price at sub 100p at the present time.
