Yes I am in HL as well, so it's not a option at the moment hence I will be doing the opening of my partner's ISA, also in April topping up my own, and my partner's,it's a bit of a messy way to do it, but at least I will have full control when I do it , on a steady day on the share price.

Just open another share ISA in your partners name, sell your shares and buy them back straight away in your partners new isa
