Responsibilities
* Set company-wide technical strategy and define product architecture ensuring security, functionality, scale, and high-quality customer experiences.
* Be the ‘Product Owner’ developing, prioritizing, and implementing Big Dish’s platform and infrastructure roadmap using agile practices.
* Ensure continuous deployment and operations of Big Dish’s platform and infrastructure to maintain customer trust and industry-leading uptime.
* Manage, lead, and motivate, cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic and tactical business outcomes.
* Lead a high performing customer innovation team to incubate new products and solutions to solve hard problems in partnership with our largest customers.
* Evolve how Big Dish leverage’s on its existing technologies to deliver services faster while maintaining high standards of reliability and compliance with legal and regulatory policy.
* Ensure Big Dish’s platform and infrastructure follow the highest standards in service protection, data governance, and customer data protection.
* Drive performance analytics programs to help Big Dish improve and accelerate decision making through effective use of data, targets, and measures.
* Partner with the leadership team to optimize the delivery of data insights and the realization of greater business value.
* Thought leadership with customers focusing on their unique business challenge and represent Big Dish at the industry, technology, and company events worldwide.
* Keep pace with the changing technology trends and partner with legal in maintaining our intellectual property portfolio.
* Promote and oversee strategic relationships with external entities including key vendors and partners.
Basic Qualifications
* 10 years of engineering or product experience in increasingly responsible roles with 5 years of data related to executive leadership in a global organization.
* Prior experience with high volume, mission-critical SaaS applications or platform design patterns, architecture, and product development serving a user base of one million or greater users.
* Capacity to synthesize complex technical topics, drive decisions, and succinctly articulate products to create customer value.
* Ability to articulate industry and market technology trends and their relevance to the evolution of product vision, technical strategy, and product roadmap.
* Proven track record leading through influence both inside and outside the organization articulating and engendering buy-in to a technology vision.
* Exceptional skills advising the C-suite, the board of directors, and presenting to customers and at industry conferences.
* Experience hiring, developing talent and managing a diverse and inclusive team recognized for delivering results, intellectual horsepower, inclusiveness, and collaboration.
