Outside my ISA, I've been buying dividend stocks. For my ISA though I want cheap "growth" companies. I think Alibaba is ridiculously undervalued. Political risk sure but that's where I'll put my THG profit if an offer comes in.

Well, I just topped up and brought my average up to 70p. If the deal falls through I have enough to double down and wait for the next bid/speculation. It's a win win as long as you're not too emotionally unable to handle seeing your positions in red. And if that's the case, you should be in fix term bonds.

Im "just" 53,500 shares at 63.5p average. Second biggest position. Any pull back and I will be buying more in my ISA.

Personally I'm expecting results to be poor. Don't see why things would suddenly get better in one of the slowest quarters of the year. Guidance matters which I expect also to be very conservative. But short term doesn't matter for me. There's the new ISA allowance that'll Ill be using exclusively for THG if there is a big drop after results. I'm at 63.5p average right now and I hope to bring it down below 60p and obviously as low as possible. With the (two?) activist investors on board and the value that can be unlocked, I'm willing to wait a few years. Have to have patience. Even decades if necessary to make a great return.

I'm actually in profit! Sure it'll only be brief but what a quick turn around. Really wish I was keeping track when it hit 50p but can't complain.

That'll be a 10 per cent dividend yield, so I'll definitely be topping up at that price as well. Topped up a little early admittedly but this is a lifetime hold for me so I'm happy for any drops as long as the dividend is at least maintained.

Damn. Was busy this morning and forgot to check the price, missed the dip! Would have loved another top up near 50p. Nice one.

Yep. I'm buying Legal & General for a long term 8.5% yield. Love days like this even if they are understandably unpleasant.
