And occasionally it comes through. I have made some really stupid investments in the past, notably a medical devices company called Cytori. But my purchase of AMD ten years ago has made up for all of them.

On the topic of volume, this stock really teaches you what liquidity means. Most of my investments are in US tech giants, where the quoted price is what you get when you trade “at market”. But when I bought into NARF, my fairly small purchase moved the price about 30%. I hate to think what I would get if I actually tried to sell (which I will not!).

Certainly disappointing performance so far. But the price moves so much on such small volume that it is in a sense meaningless. I continue to be optimistic but at this point I don’t have much to lose.

It’s a horrible down day and we seem to be flat, so I guess that’s something.
