these councillors don't care about wasting other people's time and money or they would not have voted the way they did before...it's mostly down to how 'annoyed' their electorate will be with them depending on which way the wind is blowing on the day....
Yes, it looks like violent tree-shakes into late afternoon (seen better on the Google day chart than here) maybe looking forward to licensing round results?
TSX:ECO is Ecosynthetics not Eco Atlantic
they are struggling to maintain it offshore Australia calling THAT location remote! https://www.energyvoice.com/oilandgas/385203/shells-prelude-flng-to-remain-shut-this-quarter/
perhaps standard design smaller flng's are easier to service? definitely an issue to be considered in TL
..but that Azinam acquisition deal was supposed to be concluded around 31 January (give or take a few days by mutual agreement) so imminent?
(like Gulf of Mexico) series of offshore platforms looks like it could serve multiple offshore licences and CNG might be good for onshore. Like the idea of possibly moving around CO2 by ship, whether to Bayu Undan or elsewhere as can use multiple CCS reservoir storage options (either in TL waters or elsewhere) and could even import foreign CO2 for CCS
the Timor Leste Government see that Tonga tsunami as a wake-up call re. small islands in the ring of fire (and cyclone zone) and consider carefully whether processing infrastructure might be better located in Aus where its needed and built anyway, properly and less expensively insured, located further inland and with a large rich country government to help out if needed....and waste less of their own money and time trying without expertise to build something expensive that replicates a nearby facility and which they would not be able to fix or fund to fix in a hurry if a disaster struck, especially being an important source of national income! They should employ some dispossessed Tongans to improve tourist services in Timor Leste, and bring many of them to live in TL their bank accounts were not destroyed even if their houses were...they could bring a lot of business know how with them and help TL economy...just an idea
only looks at chart patterns not fundamentals that move the value of company more substantially. Chart patterns always refer backward to past sp movements, so their forward predicted movements are only on assumption of no news and current investor behaviour
if you take a bread roll and stack other bread rolls over it to double the height whilst sloping down the sides in a dome shape, it takes about 4 rolls to cover it, the stack containing 4 added plus the original = 5 x volume of original in all (yes I know you're thinking 'out to lunch!) .....a rough calculation.....using brown bread!! :-))
(for argument's sake)....volumetrically and geometrically, if attic were encountered say 80m higher than expected and 80m pay was what they were targeting, would the volume not be a lot more than double ...say 3 to 4 times larger because of the shape?
you can access via ADV bb as it's working there

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7podt6DEZRNc8ab_channel=PortfolioMatters/
don't bother!.....Zak Mir is already the expert in that area and will tell you in great detail what the chart is saying.....but because it's AIM and a penny share it will NEVER do what's expected ;-))
ADV management are smart cookies and will want to get more than one licence 'play' in Timor L'este under their belts before seeking finance for their FPSO - having more than one option going in the region will appeal to their bankers, and while there are other licences they'd be interested in nearby to them, they may still be being negotiated with Aus to fall in TL waters, so if that drags on a deal with BOIL could be a good alternative?
ADV are drilling for oil in Timor Leste's waters and intend to get into production (of oil) rapidly, so now that we have upgraded estimates of oil/condensate in place we could do the same? (then the island can dither all it wants re the gas).....ADV will be getting an FPSO on site with no hanging about...I like what they are planning and would be more than happy to do a deal with them for BOIL
it is also possible Corallion north sea assets sell-off may take out Inner Moray Firth before we even drill it, although progressing it's development may be useful to 'package' it to promote it's sale
was what I said (but got bleeped)
ADV have said they are looking for aquisitions if they have success on Buffalo-10, well results expected early February, surely they must have an eye on BOIL? if so, why is BOIL doing this 'investor outreach' in January as this timing does not help ADV (the most likely interested party) much...surely they could wait on Buffalo result then do a ************** thing/ farm-out arrangement they should be doing anyway and avoid doing a raise....unless they need to do a little one for Inner Moray Firth before farming out on Timor? I'm just thinking this looks a bit unthought through, are they time-pressured to get going on Inner Moray for drilling soon?
not list of past no-goers that Persi loves to drag up just to annoy any newcomers! the only relevant ones mentioned are West Newton (new planning application update ongoing as ran out of time to drill next well under current agreement which needed changed anyway) and Parta (yes, wondering what's going on but not the biggest asset of interest)
...that the Quataris are competitors for the export market! ....so as I said previously, be wary of any 'free advice' they try to offer as they did to Tanzania....the result was Tanzania has so far only produced 1% of it's gas reserves and is way behind in it's development and does not yet have an lng export facility, and has largely missed out on the current gas boom market! Today in Tanzanian news you are more likely to hear about the cashew nut harvest than the gas resources being developed! The Quataris slyly hobbled the competition!
