I agree and disagree we need buyers short and long term, short term sell on the ramp and then other buyers pick up the shares at the hightened price. Leave some cake for the next share holder. The problem is without news to staple these re-rates they seem to drift off, I guess this is always going to be the case with penny stocks. If I knew the price actionnof this share wouldn’t hold I would be holding 5x the amount of shares by now, but it’s hind sight trading and always feel this level will staple and I’ll miss out getting back in.
Depending on wealth I would always say slice if it’s a large punt on any share when looking good, I will slice again hopefully this year or early next but will leave some in the pot. Sp action isn’t good but I would say look at the chart history and other aim stocks similar, nothing is gurenteed though or we would have our houses on at this price level. I don’t think positivity is the problem with SP more people jumping on at 1p and selling at 2p+ I can’t blame them but selling on the downtrend accelerates the momentum, it’s not the fundermentals of the company or DW just the share has made enough for the short term holders and they sell and move on, there is a uk oiler that recently had a crazy rampathon and that will turn too unless over positive news lands. I would love a more stable uptrend, it happens with most aim shares when you see aggressive say movements, we need solid news to back up any aggressive share jumps.
SP action is looking like the winter shut in sub 1p then settles around 1.15 then up and steady, we need sentiment and rumour mill to pick this up, I think that will happen sooner rather than later as berry price is bloody good and news is soon or any day perhaps. I really want to staple the bloody 2p’s with solid fundemntals other than sentiment to make this a real investment rather than being volitie
Funny the deramping here isn’t researched and they just state IW2 was a failure that’s the bulk of the dramas, or simple that SP has dropped. I like some balance but we know SP has dropped it has a few times, tell us something we don’t know already.
I agree kat, A lot of people on here don’t seem to realise we bought shares in a oil exploring company not a producer. It seems IW2 was the main or only motivation to them but it wasn’t a failure as enough info gathered to asses the farm out as with IW1, I don’t really get why we sold off so hard but I guess with the other uk oiler which a lot here switch between it’s all geared on flow rates due to producting frack flow but we know Horizontal it would flow anyways easy so it’s a odd one but rainbow chasing makes these shares flavour of the month and it will be our turn soon enough as people want to jump in again sub 2p. We heard on the downtrend a leak or all that rubbish but if there was a leak of info how comes this Jan drilling partners were never even commented on so take all the leak speak good or bad as tosh for now.
I agree ABLE, not much has changed just SP has dropped the company is still doing what is set out and planned to do, a lot see the well suspended as a huge fail it wasn’t the case if they read the RNS it states they have the required info and mention farm out. I think the RNS perhaps highlighted a max SP for the very short term so those thinking of selling did. We see this happen with the winter shut in or actually I’ve seen last year positive RNS and people sell it’s a odd old one sentiment.
I think when you see your SP value go down you learn to accept it’s now worth half, it’s a tough one SP doesn’t matter until it does!! Been out all day and see the convo hasn’t moved on but SP has moved up very slightly.
Risk / reward it depends on someone’s appertite or unlderstanding the company. But yes if we had a solid RNS of direction then that would be safer but leaps in SP wouldn’t be so large. Shares in general are fairly risky even ftse listed etc
That’s a big chunk fella, maybe slice on the way when we hit nice levels. It all depends on wealth though I have a million shares or so and might add more, later in the year I have more cash but might be too late to get these levels. I feel your pain on SP it’s bloody frustrating we can’t cerment these levels I think the company is undervalued and really though we stapled those 2p’s for good!! Let’s see what the next news update states
I would wait with some of my holding but would be nice to nail some of these levels and hold 4p and above to hold SP would be a good start we have tested it a lot just need some solid ground to keep that, I think revenue driven starting Jan 19 would make the company more impressive. I’m very keen as you can all tell with this Jan revenue as it’s so bloody soon to start drilling, it’s a unexpected string which is a very vey good one.
But if you feel bad news is coming why hold that makes zero sense unless you want to average down or jump on it just reads troll behaviour, if you are holding like me and many others SP obsession is a hard one I’ve tried to switch off until we learn more as there isn’t much to say we know what’s done and we know what to expect.
Here forget we have / had IW1 too , farmout could be big but we need to see. I decided a few weeks ago to not worry about SP be it 0.5p - whatever I will just asses on news rather than crapping over the small term.
I do agree about us pi’s here not pawns I just think DW is more concerned about the bigger game than the share price being between 1-4p it’s defo not his price per share. Oh corse he wants to cream his own share but his a decent chap and he wants the company to cream it too, he is invested and works at it.
