Also seven brokerages starting to see the light...... https://weekherald.com/2018/03/07/interserve-plc-irv-given-consensus-rating-of-buy-by-brokerages.html
Hi oldtimer I'm not sure the banking deal has leaked out yet it could be : "Interserve Expected To Break Even" ? https://simplywall.st/stocks/gb/commercial-services/lse-irv/interserve-shares/news/loss-making-interserve-plc-lonirv-expected-to-breakeven/
Metamorphosis84 - sorry, but the truth is that time is running out for you and your cronies You will be proved wrong very shortly and move on to your next target... Hopefully you haven't done too much damage at IRV with your self interest Time is running out............
I wonder where scarredback crawled from? 1st post ever (lol) and seems to know exactly what will happen at IRV.......maybe he is on the Board To state IRV will breach covenants at the end of March is just ridiculous - a plain lie and based on no facts whatsoever - only his self interest. Just to reassure anyone who is stupid enough to believe his self interest - blatant scaremongering. I can confidently confirm that re-financing has / is going to plan (better if you now factor in Emerald!) There will be no rights issue No sell off of key assets such as RMD No risk of breaching covenants End of year results will be better than expected No risk to Interserve's long term future The news will be out shortly - the only question is - will they release the news before all the i's are dotted and T's crossed on the legals - or wait - depends how confident they are in the SP remaining stable I believe that the re-financing is already a "done deal" and they now need to get the legals sorted - if this news starts to get out to the market unofficially - then you will start seeing some curious activity with the SP ahead of the RNS........ There SP will then fly....and the shorters will move on to there next target...... I know I shouldn't even both responding to this shorter - but it is not fair on real shareholders who have concerns...... Forecast Interest rate rises are already long factored in to the SP
In case I forget in April......let me the first to say it now I told you so!
Metamorphosis84 & seadoc - talking the SP down again...... If they could bring themselves to put one honest post on here - even they would acknowledge that it is only a matter of time until the re-financing news is released and the share price will rocket...... No there will not we a rights issue - this opportunity passed last year - do the maths..... I can only echo the other comments - this is not a Carillion - Interserve will still be here in 25 years Shorters will try and make some money at the expense of worried investors until the announcement comes The only good they have done is artificially lower the SP, so I can build up my long term holding. Hope when the news comes some shorters will get hit
bandit1 - think you are spot on with your comment If the timing of the re-financing follows this good news, then it will be game over for the shorters..... Maybe a few getting desperate or very twitchy based on some of the garbage they posted below! I have a good feeling about the SP and news this week....................
John - I am happy to answer your question "Have they had a comprehensive independent audit of accounts? and I don't mean the annual sign off of the books. If they haven't it speaks volumes" Yes they have - Ernst & Young - independent check at the request of the banks. I obviously am unable to reveal any details. But can only refer you to my previous posts.........read into this what you like.
John, strange that you are a customer of a company you are convinced are going bump. Doesn't sound like great business sense to me? As for me being wrong, always a possibility - but there is nothing I have stated that will not become evident very shortly. So lets both look at the SP at the end of March and see. GL
Reality Check' - very funny - at least you must have a sense of humour! I so wish you would put your house on shorting this share, but if not please please put all your savings into doing it! You will be eating your words very shortly & nursing your losses..... And your "advice" for employees of IRV either sounds like you are a competitor of Interserve or a disgruntled ex-employee? It would be good to hear a response from JohnDalton at the end of March ......... but guess he will be long gone by then!
Can only repeat the previous facts No share issue will take place Company not a risk Forward work load in place Profitable (without EfW) Re-financing is going to plan and will be announced shortly.............. Invest if you can and want to double your money by Easter Don't believe all the rubbish being stated by those with selfish motives Don't panic and give away your shares at a silly price.
They won't announce the good news until the re-financing is finalised - ensuring they get the best possible deal - no need to rush it - for the short term SP. But fully expecting the re-financing deal to be completed and announced within the next ten days. Watch this space... This followed by "better than expected" end of year results - will see the SP recover very quickly. Currently the safest opportunity out there! There will be many watching this SP saying in 1 months time "I can't believe I didn't buy when it was below 60p"............ Frustrating for those in the know, as they can't take advantage......
Aendjo A very well considered view. You are actually spot on with your assessment in my view.. Currently the share price is under pressure by shorters looking for short term opportunity at the cost of concerned shareholders. The shorters know this position won't last long and it can't last beyond 31st March. The share price will double very quickly on the next good news, before starting to gradually increase back up to the 2 - 3 level early next year. No risk here in reality - just opportunity - when everyone works this out - the share price will rocket......
f15jcm - I've had a look at your IRV posts - fairly obvious why you post the way you do. I liked your 45p post especially (lol) 31st March 18 - is not long away........guess we won't be seeing you much here post March - I'm sure your work here will be done by then
Some of the negative comments on here recently are laughable at best, but mainly irresponsible and obviously based on a significant lack of knowledge or more likely self-interest Lets keep to the facts..... Will there be a rights issue - No Will they announce secured long term funding ahead of 31st March - Yes Any surprises in the end of year reporting - No Will the end of year reporting be positive - Yes Is there any risk whatsoever of Interserve going the same way as Carillion - None Will these shares be 2 + by 31st December 2018 - Yes Are self interested parties posting rubbish on this forum - yes Two of the above points will be self evident by the 31st March 18 The other points will be self evident within the next 6 months Do the shorters want people to be worried unduly and sell - yes Is this how they make money - yes More than happy for there to be negative comments on this forum, but it would be good to have some basis in reality.
No Rights Issue Planned Statement due on long term re-financing before year end Year end update will be positive - no surprises Love the negative comments
Bandit, hopefully no abuse on this forum - I have enjoyed your posts. It will be interesting to see how well the share stands up today, as I think it may come under a little pressure this week. Long term though - I'm confident.. Good Luck and hopefully see you back here soon
I would concur 2 + at end of year I have been following IRV for a long time now - the specific problems have been well documented, but Interserve haven't turned into a bad company overnight. Plenty of scope for improvement no doubt and future growth. Hard lessons learned. Sad for Carillion, but that headline will soon be overtaken by other news and the focus will move elsewhere. We all have the jitters now and again and day to day there may be ups & downs, but longer term - IRV are only going up in my opinion. Although I'm thinking that if they went down short term (say 10p plus) - it would be good for me - as I will increase my investment. GL
Funny how the business media get away with reporting the share price ...... Massive bounce back yesterday and this morning well above their levels of doom! I guess the bounce didn't suit their headlines, or the story they want to tell / invent Shorters obviously wanted the news - to take advantage of the nervous investor Ups & downs along the way, but just HOLD as they are going up over this 12 months regardless of the media and the shorters - just sit back and enjoy the ride Don't just hand your money to the Shorters - if you make a profit and take that great - but just don't panic and keep keep your nerve is my advice - fwiw
Despite the news headlines ....this share is looking strong again There may be a few wobbles along the way, but the trend will be upwards, imo wouldn't be surprised to see it finishing today at last nights close. You had react like Usain Bolt to get in at around 103 today ! News promoted by the shorters to try and get out? Some lucky few maybe did.....
