How does this compare to the kalaba interview in Sept on initial samples on the 9 diamond drills. I know this site is a lot bigger but apart from the vein bit seems similar to me except for the cobalt price dropping

I find it odd, we have been waiting for this information since last year and it has the total opposite effect.

When was this interview done. Shows loaded on 6th March on youtube but post indaba was 19th Feb.

I'd be disappointed if he was happy we were taken out after proving that amount. Hoping kalaba provides that on its own.

This is my only mining share so i've done as much research as i could from the usual places.

Once the Jorc is out we will know better but im of the thinking it isnt the fact Kalaba is not wanted its more that the new sites have made them wary of committing to something when they may miss out on the larger site. I think it will all be sold as package but that's my opinion.

Someone mentioned when Sentinel was sold it had proved up to a couple of 100m tonnes. We know subsequently it went up to 1 billion tonnes.

If say at the point of sale for £250m it was 200m tonnes then a jorc whatever it is, should give us a clear indication what the minimum value Kalaba is worth. A 50m tonnes it should still give us £75m which is a 3 fold increase.

There definitely was a call when he said the majors were looking more at size when he was talking about 0.5-1.0 of quality late last year way before we knew about Cheyeza West.

His focus may have changed but Kalaba still needs to be finished off and as hes set out his plans for the next year pretty much lets up we get the Jorc by at least Q3 this year and some sort of sale of the other assets by end of this year

If we can prove up to 100m tonnes of ore at 0.5 average but from what I remember I thought we were looking at closer to 1.0. Then wouldn't that make us like 50% of sentinel or there abouts at the point of sale for sentinel.

I thought the billion tonnes came about after the purchase so sentinel was proved up to a couple of 100m tonnes. If that was the case why wouldn't kalaba be attractive and I remember NVS said in one of the calls, the majors were looking at size more than quality so I'm just waiting for the size to be proved up on the jorc

I'm assuming we will still get a Jorc for Kalaba after the NW or NE part has been drilled.

There should still be a value attached to this site, as before the aeromag thats what the focus was on and i don't see why that has changed even though future monies will be direct at Chez

We have all be saying if it is similar to Sentinel at the point of sale then we would have been happy, so if the estimate was at 50mt and therefore we are waiting for it to be proved up higher. That's how i have been looking at it

I wasn't sure what the rules are in regards to buying. I may be wrong but i would assume we wont see the Jorc yet if these buys are going through

Don't think we will hear any news soon if that RNS has just come out

Hopefully we get some update on the outstanding issues soon.

However even having to wait for the new drillings at the new sites, I would hope we will have a jorc with the additional drilling at kalaba so we have an idea what this asset is worth. Sooner rather than later.

I invested prior to the new finds so i would like kalaba boxed off at some point with this Jorc when it materialises. He did mention this additional drilling for Kalaba but unclear if this is a short program. Hopefully this part will be clearer mid year

There were things i wasn't sure how to take with regards to pricing but at least we now know where he wants to be in a years time and if its there or thereabouts for a Jorc for Cheyeza West and Lumbeta this time next year I think we would all take that

Lets hope the delays are the same as last time when they wanted to double check as results were a lot better than they expected.

That would be nice if we were looking at that kind of range but I'm a pessimist by nature and it all comes down to the time frame.

I think this will come good, just hoping we get a clear idea as to what direction nvs expects to takes us by 3rd quarter.
