Overnight news from the USA regarding Alphabet and Microsoft is not grim, especially after adjusting for restructuring. Therefore not too surprised to see N15 move higher today. Quite likely that we'll see a recovery to over 900p before the dividend is paid.

Today's rns, announcing the appointment of John Davies as the new CEO, is probably the best outcome for Cordel. Therefore shareholders should be happy enough today.

The CFO has left in a hurry. I wonder if he made the flawed final decision on the delayed retail offer, which was a flop for obvious reasons. His job was looking after the money and that was a botch up. On top of that there is the question of the share price drop before the placing. Doubt if we will ever learn about that, but a good chance that the BOD as a whole were not happy with what happened..

It looks a great deal for both Tavistock and Precise Protect, in terms of selling each others products. Need to train the PP agents up to IFA level. Looking forward now to updates over the next year.

Today's news that the Swedish State is appealing against the c£17m awarded to Sigmaroc, was to be expected. Therefore, presumably not included in the analysis? FWIW I would be happy for us to get back over 60p, though have 75p in mind as a year end number.

The failed takeover is history.

Revenue growth was lower during H2 lat year. N15 have the tech giants amongst their client base. They have been actively cutting jobs and costs. It is not just the tech giants either. What impact will that have on N15 this year? It seems the market is worried by the possibility of a profit warning or a downward adjustment in expectations if one prefers. Full Results out on April 25, we should have a better idea then if given a trading update.

HBS New Energies have been rebranded as UPOWA. This should be a high growth area for BRCK for many years to come.

Like many on here, it was a case of when the fundraising was going to happen. The recent Amtrak order being the ideal opportunity. Cordel had made it clear that they were keeping a close eye on the cash, working from home etc. Surprising that they have raised twice as much for expansion rather than working capital. That does suggest that once the LIDAR equipment is installed following a contract, cash generation is following fairly quickly. Also that the Amtrak contract is going to open the door to many others. Definitely a hold for me.

Have a modest investment in these in the ISA. They are a professional company progressing in the right direction. No chance of my money going up in smoke.

Am happy enough with what I've heard this week to hold onto my present holding, for at least the year ahead. Have trust in IST and RC to make the right calls regarding Oonex, assuming regulatory approval is received. After all they have done a good job in transforming Equals, in the last couple of years. On looking at the Oonex website did notice that they have a compliance unit in The Netherlands because of a KYC and AML position on offer. I did wonder if this was a sign of Equals getting involved already.

Good to see the share price bounce back.

Difficult times but the SRC board have been positively active. They have had to raise money with a low share price, though the acquisitions presumably must also be somewhat cheaper as well. Am sure that if Warren Buffet invested in Aim stocks, he would have SRC at or near the top of his shopping list. Just a matter of being patient.

Will look at the vox interview when I get time but don't understand why a company seriously wanting to attract corporate business bothers.

As far as the Oonex acquisition goes, at the moment just seems like buying a small loss making business with licences and calling it Equals European Headquarters in Belgium.

As a shareholder, I want to know if Oonex will be rebranded as an identifiable part of the Equals Group. Also, if any experienced Equals staff will relocate to Belgium to oversee operations. Making full use of their knowledge of what Equals can offer European businesses, to help support Oonex staff and boost expansion. Growth asap not medium term, whatever that means, thereby protecting Equals investment in this business.

The results report does show details of thought towards future growth. Hopefully the next one will be even better with specific objectives laid out with targeted dates .

Very good news this morning. This Amtrak contract will no doubt open many other doors across the World. The recent move by Nick Smith to focus on selling Cordel to Europe and the Middle East suggests shareholders could have even more good news to come from these regions, later this year.

Should have used Primary Bid on the same night of the placing, likely the offer would have been snapped up in a couple of hours. I would have bought some and expect most here would have bought at 70p if they were aware. The Primary Bid app sees to that.
As it was, when I first checked the web address on the offer rns, would have been difficult to buy. Did not look again. A shame because a sell out would have given them an extra £400k+ in working capital. Hopefully the company advising will learn from this, can't blame Ensilica.

Sorry to bring bad news but apparently Darktrace are involved, also Wise. Around 200 UK tech companies in total, therefore I expect to get hit if there is a complete collapse.

Best to focus on the positives of this company rather than worry about something which might not have happened. At 100p+ this was a high, solid growth company with a slightly vulnerable young balance sheet. Now it has raised funds for working capital and can be bought for 70p. What is wrong with that? How long before this goes back over 100p? Am pleased to have bought shares today, and hope that the buy rises above 70p to allow the retail offer to be a success.

There is something I purposely left out of my original take on the InvestorMeet presentation. Asked about the likely size of an Exchange Cloud contract, Gordon McArthur said that around 20 cabinets is possible. With the going rate for a cabinet @1m could well be 20m. Now I'm not sure whether that is dollars or sterling and per annum or perhaps over three years. Might have missed something that he said but have been too busy to watch again. My previous own estimation of a major exchange contract is a minimum of $10m per annum. Either way we are still talking pretty large numbers. Which are most likely going to be fluid in any case. Thereby allowing the exchanges involved, to add new clients in response to any demand. Gordon McArthur said that the potential clients number around 800-1000 for each exchange. He accepts that many will want to do their own thing (for which Beeks can offer Proximity Cloud).
Beeks are out in front on their own here, in terms of product offering with Exchange Cloud. Getting this right, should prove to be extremely rewarding.

Regarding the interest rate bonus, in my notes on Alpha Group include: 'rns Jan 18: expansion plans for Alternative Banking, brought forward, financed by interest funds. Any extra funds gained, above expectations, in 23 will be used also.'
These words are the ones I've written, in understanding of the rns. (copies of which are out there.)

Believe some caution is required here. That said, if the effect of funding and expanding of the Alternative Banking operation, results in even more interest rate income. This expansion will most likely snowball. Could be very rewarding either in terms of fees and or interest rate income.

Definitely a solid long term hold.

Did take the trouble to look at Wise, IPO'd at a high price but have come down some since. It seems they have got their plans, with a decent global reach, thanks to the use of reputable established overseas businesses as agents. Not dug too deeply, but couldn't easily find details of their own global offices. Though they have recently opened an office in Texas, where Equals were looking for business last year. Have an acquaintance who has worked for a major UK bank in foreign payments for most of his working life. He obviously can't tell me anything specific because he knows too much. On my mention of Wise, he did concede that some of their own clients were 'most likely' using them. Wise also have plenty of cash.
