as the SP is now powering ahead. It fell from 410p and although is on a demanding rating, I think its results proved that there is strong growth in the company. I expect this to go back to 400p now that there is buying momentum

I am not sure why this has fallen so much. With its big mcap it should be hard to move the price. Since it hit 330p it has fallen 12%. Must be oversold!

if there is something behind the recent strong rise in the SP? Is the planning permission being rushed through before the election. I would have thought the electoral uncertainty might have shelved it but this has been bounding along. The 5p placing investors are a bit happier I assume.

Weird Kane. Why are sellers accepting 430p when the cash offer is 715? I can't fathom it.

Well just like Halley's Comet comes round I reckon we are due a spike on speculation shortly.. We are getting lower highs and lower lows all the time so any spike will only be clawing back lost ground. Some news is definitely needed to make this rebound.

Thanks for the response Ironfish. I suppose with the index an at all time high and action hotels underperforming in SP terms, it is no surprise to see sellers at 58 and 57p in the last week. It might reignite in Apirl when it announces its final divi and results. The 5% spread doesn't inspire though in terms of bottom feeding and trying yo make a turn on the share. I have been to a presentation and although the divi is attractive to me, I am not convinced by the model.

Jayleno or Ironfish, any comments on yesterday's large trades? Is it NOrge Bank and Blakeney again? It might be a buy and sell at the same price. No effect on the SP so far which is why I think one is a buy and the other a sell.

following an excellent presentation by Paul Swinney last night. Very good and open presentation with every question honestly answered. Challenging and ambitious targets set by the company. The big news that I thought was very well handled is that TSTL are going to apply to the FDA to enter America. I found it a bit strange that Paul has been pressed and with implied criticism before about entering the huge american market and now that it is announced the presentation attendees were imo slightly skeptical. I applaud the move.

and the presenter was open and honest. Seems a pretty safe share and pays a divi. They hope to grow through acquisitions. I was interested to hear that they would have bought Hunters if possible but Hunters are going down the route of an IPO. Interesting points here too by Sain@vision but the presenter said 85% of the franchisees are 'very good'. There was very little overlap between its branches and they were keen to keep the brands separate.. He also said it takes two to three years to generate good profits from a franchisee. The charts he showed seemed to show good retention of franchisees but I would have need to examine them a bit closer. Might be worth a punt if it weakens in the run up to the general election with uncertainty around rates and mansion taxes etc which could affect housing sentiment.

Very good results that surpassed even my expectations. Nice dividend hike plus good cash in bank. Looks like a return of capital too after October. Hang onto your hats. These are gonna fly today!

Well done, Juddie although I think myself there is more to come. This tends to oscillate quite widely so it may well retrace. I have a feeling 320p is the new floor. Now that we have broken 330p I can see this climbing to 350p. There is strong buying pressure. A strong candidate for inclusion in the Footsie Index series which will mean funds can buy in.

Yes, I feel this will hit 80p if it maintains the growth. Germany should be good I hope and a dividend hike would also help. We might find out how Trio has been performing since its launch. If growth has slowed I suppose we could be pushed down to 66p. But I am hopeful momentum has been maintained.

Would have been gutted to have sold out this morning after a sobering update. Not sure why it recovered so quickly unless there is a hint of a bidder. POO is still keeping its recent gains so I suppose we may well have overcome the worst.

Yes. Not sure why these have fallen again. I suppose when you fail to integrate an acquisition after splashing your cash then you can't blame holders for losing faith in management. I am not sure what the management can do in the short term to reverse sentiment and only hope this fall bottoms out. There seems to be determined selling and little buying interest.

Hi RGM, the cash pile is very interesting. Although they pay a small divi, it s hard to know what they are doing with it. If it's banked they must be getting a very low interest rate as the 8.1millions us interest received doesn't seem to feature in the accounts. I still like the company and its prospects and there should be good upside. It would be good to find out where the 8.1 million cash is held and for what return.

Still good value even at 26p ask. This has been up to 30p and is very much on-track as today's RNS confirms.

is holding this back? There seems to be selling into strength. Yesterday, it looked like it was breaking out before heavy selling dragged it back. I also wonder if it is heading back sub 11p.

Actually Juddy they increased the amount of shares placed from 100 million to 120 million due to demand so it appears there is no shortage of demand. It should be good news longer term as it will improve liquidity plus makes it eligible for the Ftse 100 and 250 etc. It means more fund managers can buy in. The shares are being placed tomorrow so we shall see what effect there is on the share price.
