The market usually like companies that borrow sensibility to create growth....will be interesting to see how the day pans out. Seems like a drawdown facility...high interest rate but unsecured...the lender obviously has confidence in Ben...

Turcan's mob buying again.... interesting given this late stage in the game.Wonder if it signifies anything for MMX2. Could do with a notification that SJL has bought a load more....that would be a great clue for us lol.

Hi SB....you mention the possibility of an RTO for MMX2 but I seem to remember that before SJL went AWOL he posted a message on the BB saying something along the lines that he was going to discuss a new business idea he had in mind with TF and the BoD. In his message I think he mentioned not posting again due to a possible conflict of interest. I got the impression he was talking about a completely new venture under MMX2 but not an RTO so to speak. I remember thinking at the time how much would any running costs of a new MMX 2 venture cost on the view that this would come out of the capital they retained from the sale of MMX. A company already trading wouldn't, to my thinking, have such a "hit". I also remember thinking I would be much happier with SJL on the board than not given their 4th division performance to date (I might have been better saying Sunday League here i.e. amateur) . We haven't heard from SLJ since so if nothing was happening on his ideas I thought he may have been back on to give us his views. I haven't seen any recent postings from him and I appreciate that he may have gone off an bought a few more Bentley's and the odd Ferrari but I don't think that's his MO. Just a thought for MMX2.

Well Turcan's lot are at it again....another 500,000 shares bought. Hopefully there is more to this than a simple quick gain if/when the sale of MMX completes...fingers crossed anyway.

Mmmm.....I take your points onboard SB.....unfortunately for me the shock of achieving a not so whopping 8.8p p/s after the capital and length of time being invested here has still not subsided...and now we head into the unknown (what are we exactly going to do now with the cash held back) with whoever is to be the next great leader.....and no one is sure that SJL will be onboard....and he is, for me, the only one that gives me some degree of confidence going forward.

All positive then...cash balance up, results demonstrate the quality of our portfolio, cost reductions via operational changes and we are seeing an increase in cash generation...brilliant...I know..why don't we flog the business for (apparently) 8.8p per share..what a great idea NOT!!. Madness just isn't the word.

SB...I did wonder about the vesting requirements re TF's share options....maybe they forgot to mention that they vest at a share price of 30p or some other monster improved figure from where we are now (I am sure we all wish!! LOL) Your comment on Bryan Disher is a positive and certainly something we know TH avoided doing which I seem to recollect caused some negative comments about him on here....which seem to have been proven somewhat correct given all that has subsequently come out.

SB . .totally agree...please see my posts around 8am today ....I'm really intrigued by the last paragraph re SJL...well reading between the lines.,,they want to keep him 'on board ' ...mmm TF wants to keep SJL on board ...that's got to be good news for us surely..

Well for me the following:
1, The trading update isn't bad at all considering our concerns re TH and how the company was operating under him. We have to take the positives from this particularly that TF's position is now official... there's a real p?an of action taking place in what appears to be inline with SJL's views. Reduced workforce and therefore costs will be good news to at least one of our BB friends lol...and fish in the bank...could it be that this time we get it right??
2, the settlement update for me was excellent... we've sorted it to the agreement of all parties and therefore done the right thing....and the last two paragraphs were very interesting/positive... particularly the last one....keeping SJL inside for the benefit of the company / us shareholders!!!... intriguing to say the least....happy days ahead me thinks...wonder when we will hear from SJL now he's yet again proven to be correct so to speak...come on SJL we're waiting lol...cheers...ezzza

SB...Let's hope the expected trading update this week is as positive ...the start (again) of getting the company and share price to somewhere more realistic to were we are at the mo...maybe it's a FOURTH time lucky for us re the BoD getting this right...fingers crossed on that anyway.

Nice one Norrab1.....wonder what will happen this Saturday....the last time we played a team from East Sussex they were massive under dogs ....and we know what happened then lol (even some TOWIE gadger got in on the act for his 2mins of fame). My view is that they are both close to London and we LUFC fans know what that means ...dooooom....aaaaargh LOL.
